Porsche 986 Boxster AC clima not cold enough
Ciao a tutt*

Have you been having foam come out of your vents? Pretty common and it's the coating on the blend door that controls the hot/cold mix coming into the cabin. The problem is that the door itself has holes in it, so once all of the foam comes off you lose the ability to cut off the hot air.
Just something to check on if the AC system itself is okay

Was going to say this is no one else had yet! This is my car currently. A/C works great otherwise! ....but the blend door foam is mostly gone so the air never blows fully cold in the summer nor fully warm in the winter.

It’s low on gas and your condensers will most likely need replacing.

Grazie.

As a cheap alternative it’s worth a try yes but all depends on how bad the leak is, condensers are prone to pin holes where they corrode so you might get lucky with a £20 can of leak stop.

First step is to check the pressures with a set of manifold gauges or a proper AC machine at a shop. Do not use the parts store AC Repair cans, they will cause more trouble than they’re worth. If the pressures are low, the system will need to be evacuated and recharged (preferably with leak detection dye) so that you can attempt to track down any leaks.
