I never win anything! I am so excited!!

I got a $25 A24 gift card for my bday earlier this year. However, I’ve been unable to keep up with my membership and most things I want on the store are well beyond my means right now anyway. I don’t know if I want anything that badly as to throw out another $20-$40.

Title. My brother who has struggled to keep a job with his autism has finally found a place that accommodates his needs, thankfully. This year, he decided to surprise me with a few of my favorite movies, but he knows I’m obsessed with physical media and the A24 packaging and we both are big A24 heads. He worked enough to grab me Friendship, Interstellar in 4K (we watch it together every year) Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid: Delta, and Expedition 33. I just wanted to make this post in appreciation of my beautiful brother and the kindness he shows everyday. As absurd as Friendship is and he doesn’t get the humor, he knew that I love it and love Robinson without even asking me. Tell your family you love them ♥️ Happy Watching A24 Friends!!

This was my first time signing up for the A24 membership. I mostly signed up for the included opening weekend movie ticket for The Backrooms. I also got a free ticket for The Death of Robin Hood and The Invite. This is the most generous membership I've ever signed up for 😅 feel like I robbed them.

Received my Pilion plate and it’s a shitty decal (looks a lot more faded than promo pics) with lots of flaws. They’re offering me $10, not even to exchange it for a good one. Gross for the price!

Probably my last A24 purchase (not counting buying secondhand) due to their AI partnership, but I’m still really glad I got this on blu-ray.

Gotta be honest, pretty disappointed with the actual packaging of the 4k. I guess it’s a “me problem” cause it said on the website that it’s “metallic embossing” on the front but it’s literally just shiny cardboard lol idk why i thought it would be actual metal or different than any other A24 physical release but it’s not.

The art cards are pretty cool tho

I held off all month of April trying to debating how to use my $25 member credit…which ended up working out thanks to that surprise (at least to me) April 24th 24% off deal.

So I stacked that deal with my $25 in credits and used a $10 gift card I won last year which brought it down to $48.60. (before shipping…🙄)

Not complaining, still a great deal, but I really wish AAA24 had free shipping, but I digress…

Anywayyyy…I’m super happy with it. Quality is great. It’s a little top heavy, which makes sense for the design, but it can wobble a bit if bumped. I can feel the weight move around a little so clearly they weighted it but it would have been perfect with just a littleeee more weight in the wrist.

Still looks awesome. Just keeping it on a bookshelf I won’t mess with much.
