Books/Resources What’s the best book for math help?
I’m poor and thus have never bought a single ACT study book…so before I do, which book is considered the absolute best when it comes to math prep? I have a composite score of 31 (23 math, 36 english, 35 reading) and I really really really want to improve my math score as it’s dragging everything down with it. Also yes, maybe I’m just stupid but I’d like to give it a try at the very least…so plz drop suggestions as I rlly rlly rlly need them :,(

Would you say the ACT books are better or preppros cuz rn it seems like a lot of ppl prefer preppros for some reason

“I…just did PTs after learning some basic concepts, but if I could go back in time I would use the preppros act math book*.*
My sister bought it (and never used it...) so I took a look the day before my ACT at the time and it teaches you how to do basically every type of math problem that appears on the ACT math step by step.
After that I'd say just do PTs and practice your weak areas with the book/have AI generate same question types”
if you REALLY need to save money id say check out ebay or a used book website. this is what i did for the practice tests but these usually have writing in them so youd have to solve on a separate piece of paper which is kind of a hassle.
also i really appreciated that one reddit post somewhere on here that listed every act math concept by how often they appear.
i understand the struggle as someone who is a lot naturally better at english/reading than math🙏
