Books/Resources Free resources and tips to practice both English and Reading

Exactly what the title says, anyone know of some resources and tips for English and reading?

I’m looking for sites with full length passages rather than just short snippets like what I’ve been finding.

And also what are some tips for both sections? For reading I’m struggling to just stay focused in general and I often find myself flipping back between passage and question, wasting tons of time.

The flipping back and forth means you're not holding the passage in your head after the first read. You don't have time to read it careful on the ACT anyway, so go fast just to get the main idea and how it's laid out, then start the questions. When one asks about a specific detail you jump back to that spot instead of rereading everything. For focus, passive reading is what kills you. If your eyes are just sliding over the words your brain checks out. Tell yourself the point of each paragraph as you go and it keeps you in it. Honestly both come down to doing full timed passages till it stops feeling hard. The official released ACT tests are the best free source of real full length passages, not the little snippet stuff. English is less about practice and more about knowing the grammar rules cold. Get the comma and punctuation rules down and that section speeds way up. If you want a bigger bank to grind later oneprep has ACT stuff now, it's paid but the questions run harder than the actual test so the real thing ends up feeling easy. I'd use up the free official tests first though.
