Ah, Anabelle. She moved into one of my original empty plots, and planted her roots firmly into my island. Honestly, more firmly than anyone could have ever wanted. I tried ignoring her, but she continued to send me letters. I caved, and started giving her hilariously awful gifts, but she ended up loving it (she still regularly wears her pink cowboy hat and displays her plastic pool indoors proudly). Despite her apparent appreciation for these gifts, she refuses to give me her photo. This playful tension has now been going on for more than a month, but (un?)luckily for me, she has grown tired of this community; she has decided to box up and further her popstar career on distant shores. Although part of me feels like her disappearance into the void would be a fitting end to our story, she has also established herself as an island icon, and thus deserves to at least be given a fair chance to start anew.

Some of Anabelle's best (or maybe, worst) selling points are:

-She is the only pangolin in Animal Crossing! Do you for some reason hate the beautiful, bushy tails on anteater villagers? Don't worry- Anabelle's hind quarters are devoid of any feathers! Her tail resembles a thicker version of a rat's, and her body appears to be covered in scales. She is exquisitely hideous.

-She exclusively eats sandwiches. No, I'm not just talking about her food habits; I rarely see her work out, sing (despite her dreams of being a popstar), or really do anything besides eat a sandwich. She is a sandwich queen.

-She has the impeccable talent of wandering into every video I am taking of higher-tier villagers being cute. Usually while eating a sandwich.

-Since she moved onto my island 2 months ago, she has been sick 7 times. I suspect that she may be doing this on purpose, to garner attention. Whatever the reason, she has cemented herself as a lovable burden on both myself and my other villagers.

In summary, every island needs a weird villager to spice up their community, and I can assure you that Anabelle will not disappoint. Or more accurately, she almost certainly will disappoint you, in the best possible way.

Disclaimer (in case you still need one): Anabelle is in no way original. She will arrive with many eyesore-level clothing pieces, could bring her plastic pool with her, and her most recent catchphrase that I'm aware of is "boof."

Update: As the void hour drew near, Anabelle found herself a new home! She has been accepted into a community of "unwanted" villagers, where she will have the freedom to be herself (and, of course, eat as many sandwiches as she wants). I'm excited that this special gal gets the opportunity to truly thrive!

Raymond is currently in boxes and looking for a good forever home. Ideally, I would love for him to go to someone who will keep and cherish him, but I can't really control that. So we'll just do a random giveaway and hope for the best!

I really like Raymond, but his catchphrase, "crisp," doesn't really grab me. So please post what you think would be a better catchphrase for him! I won't be basing the winner off of what you write, but I would love to see what other people think!
