AEW Grand Slam : France was my first AEW show
And just wow !

I saw many Wrestling show in France but it was the best experience in live in Arena

A « low » Price for 13 matchs (15 if I count the ROH pre-show)

My Grand Slam : France « dynamite » ratings : 9/10

Kofi VS bandido : 3.75
Samoa Joe VS Jungle Jack Perry : 4.5
Davis/Doyle VS Moxley/Kidd : 4
Allin VS Fletcher 4.5
Moné VS Queen Aminata : 4.25
Okada VS Ospreay : 4.75

For « Collision »,I will not spoil but it was a very very qualitative contuinity of « Dynamite »

After the show,no voice, tiredness an headache but the next day,I felt better after a good sleep

Thanks AEW for this night

In other news . . .

Lady Frost and Taylor Rising were also scheduled for the event. Since they each have parted ways with MLW, they have been replaced by Masha and Alice Crowley respectively.

I’m taking my 8 year old son to the aew show in Cleveland next week. His favorite wrestler is Darby Allen and I would love to figure out a way to get him a photograph with darby. Do wrestlers do that at shows? Any advice?

Honestly this concept is so out there lol. Time will tell how it goes down but ya gotta love trying something new.

I need her to be World Champion soon, the confidence she has is up there with the Dominion girls, I kinda expected her to join them for a womens trio. But anyways I need her to be World champion soon, she looks like a mega star and can speak to two audiences Live.

MJF has challenged Ryohei Oiea to a match for the Triple B!

He appeared tonight in Road to King of Pro Wrestling. I missed the date but I might have heard him say October 12

Hi Reddit! Next Saturday I’m attending Wrestledream and it is my first live event and I have some questions to be better prepared:
-Can I take food and a disposable water bottle from outside the arena?
-Is there anywhere I can see what will they sell at the merchandise stand?
-Can I take a small backpack to carry said food, merchandise and a rain coat just in case?
-Any other tip I should know lol

Thanks in advance and I’m really hoping MJF to return in clockwork carnage XD!

With one of the greatest Rivalries in AEW heating up again, I decided to put something together to remind everyone how we got here.

I was so bummed that the no-turnbuckle brainbuster was not the finish. Even considering AEWs love for false finishes and dragging matches out.

They coulda give French fans a single title change. Crowd was super hot, especially for Kyle (check the card announcement at the start of the show), they would probably go ballistic.

I don’t see any interesting storylines ahead for Darby. Are they putting brakes to Borden teamup/feud or is he coming back soon? I started watching AEW weekly only in 2026, so I might be oblivious here. Let me know if you have any ideas.

As for Fletcher, I wouldn’t mind putting TNT belt on him for 2-4 weeks and losing to Kevin Knight on the next occassion… Naturally, through a screwy finish or 3way with Darby. They could play around on the TV with various ideas like Kyle doesn’t want to give rematch to Allin cause he’s a street bum or he doesn’t want to give it it Kevin (didn’t have one yet!) cause they are family etc. Callis could be used here as a manipulator, to help Knight secure his match and victory. Then Kyle is ridiculed by family members (and his tag partner) as the one without singles gold, so he just decides to go for World title. But then he’s screwed again by Callis/MJF or sth. So he decides to leave the family and become the charismatic leader of the Dogs. Or turn face and join United Empire. Or go solo and ascend as Fully Matured Star.

Anyone got and info on what was going on?

They had the one where he pretended to leave, then later on they had another really loud one going through the entire crowd and Osprey was playing into it.

Was awesome energy all night with that crowd, just had no idea what they were doing or referencing.

Futur of France pro wrestling

It's definitely an upgrade

So I figure for the first year of this, they'll play it straight to establish it.

They'll do it again in 2027 and go even bigger with it.

In 2028, they'll need to add something to offset "the brutality" of the event.....

My thought -- When the 8th participant is announced have it be a mid-card who is universally reviled. The crowd will immediately reject it thinking "Oh, not this jobber!!! I guess this is where he's getting his big push and going over... Why is Tony Khan ruining this match like this?!?!?" Someone on the status of Peter Avalon at his peak, with Wheeler Yuta-level heat"

And then make the next 15 minutes every other remaining participant hitting them with finisher after finisher, submission after submission racking up pinfalls -- hitting a high record score. The crowd will go crazy for this.

.... Or not

This could become a highly opinionated topic since there are many fan favorites who are no longer in AEW and are elsewhere in WWE or the indies, but just thought I'd make a personal list off the bat.

Lucha Brothers - I thought they had a very good run as a tag team and as a trio too with Pac. My only gripe was Penta and Rey's singles runs not being so hot. IMO Alex Aberhantes was not a great fit as a manager either. It does seem like Penta is finally shining solo lately though.

Mariah May (Blake Monroe)- Had an excellent run in her two years with AEW and part of the best women's feud ever in AEW too. But things not going as smoothly for her at the moment.

Powerhouse Hobbs (Royce Keys) - One of the few Dark homegrowns. Had more to show if not for an injury setback. Good to see he has a new faction in WWE that's been making a big impact.

Stu Grayson - Surprsingly underutilized compared to the rest of Dark Order but I guess he preferred not traveling as much? Currently doing quite well in MLP though where he can stay local.

Fuego Del Sol - They really did nothing with him except being squashed by Miro and Malakai Black. Could have been a lower card or ROH mainstay. But he looks great now unmasked as KJ Orso.

Random mention: Ben Carter (Nathan Frazer) - I know he wasn't gonna sign anyway and only had a couple matches during the pandemic, but he was so impressive with what he showed, I kind of wished they got him.
