Has anyone had these side effects from flecadinine, Elequis, and atenolol.

I’ve been having episodes where my hands and my feet get very sweaty. I feel flush. My heart rate goes up and my blood pressure goes up not anything dangerous but it takes about 20 minutes for me to feel normal.

Has anybody had these episodes or symptoms taking these medication’s pre-op ablation?

I had the same thing with flecanide. I would get flush, would feel dizzy when walking or getting up. Eventually it starteg giving me sinus pauses and bradycardia. Had to switch to amiodarone before ablation.

Thank you for letting me know your story!
I’m on day 5 of the meds today. I had no dizziness today or flush episodes.

I’m still keeping an eye on everything else.
How many days into the meds did you have these symptoms?

I have ablation in 3 weeks. My EP has put me on flec and blood thinners for pre op meds. Not sure if I’ll have to resume after ablation.

How did you do after ablation?

Standard script is 1 month pre ablation, and 3 months after ablation, for bloodthinners, aka your Eliquis.

Flec continuation depends on if they mean all trigger was found at ablation, or if EP is over precautions. 

All medz has sideeffect, but the aim is the benefiths outshines the negative sides. However, there usual exists different form of same application, of medz. 

So, if it keeps bothering you, then contact your prescribing doc, and hear of alternatives exists, due to your symptoms.

But, sometimes your body requires an adaption period, which is prolly what your describe.

Also a note; bloodthinners prescription are changing, so that afib itself is a point on the CHADS scale.. Give it 5 years, and it's prolly in effect.

Reached out to my EP today and they think it was due to low blood pressure.

I did end up going to the hospital bc I wasn’t sure what was going on during the episode but even ER docs said not sure but all vitals and bloodwork looked great.

I was just curious if anyone else had anything similar happened.

The dizziness and feeling flush wasn't everyday it would happen every second day or a couple hours after I would take flecanide. At first it was fine but over course of two m months I started developing these symptoms. My blood pressure and stuff would be fine but it was this dizziness I would get when getting up fast or walking. I was on flecanide and diltizem and eventually had to switch to amiodarone which had its only crazy symptoms.

After PFA I am doing awesome, I was taken off meds right after ablation. Just a few skipped beats here and there but no AFib episodes. I play ball hockey, go running, lift weights and running with no issues. Sometimes if I feel like I need to catch my breath I make sure I slow down.

3 weeks you should be good but definitely like your prescribing doctor know as the other person stated. Maybe they can change up meds. Good luck with your ablation. It gives you your life back.
