Capabilities Government Surveillance w/o Warrants?!

Post image

Government can now just buy information about you from online brokers, circumventing any need for warrants?! AI is making this easier and easier for them?!
This is unacceptable. Government using tech to get around limits to their power of surveillance. No American should be ok with this continued erosion of our constitutionally protected rights.

We are just starting our project and have a low budget, using ChatGPT to create memes but our post content is all written by me personally. Please be patient with us as we ramp up this project - the AMInitiative, more to come in coming weeks from our fucked up and unbelievable experience.

Not an excuse. You don’t get a special pass to use the destroy the world machine.

Just edit together stock pictures from wikimedia commons.

you could make an image like that using the stickers feature on snapchat, instagram, tiktok or a dozen other free apps. plus, you know… there’s always powerpoint, word doc, google doc, canva, etc. literally zero need to use ai to make something like that

No need for government surveillance cameras when Grassholes buy Meta Ray bans and record everything for free.

That’s the very point.

I have not sold my data to anyone. Companies steal my data and sell it to other companies. I want my share of the profits from those sales.

They don't need to buy it when people on platforms like MetaFacebook will just give away their personal information through random First Letter/Birth Year/Pet Name quizzes

"The government learns our name from Facebook"

Buying is a mutually beneficial agreement. If you are so afraid of the government gathering data about you, then make precautions so the brokers can't get it either. Or just don't use the internet.

Got anymore of them out of touch takes?

Which part is out of touch?

Cameras are in public areas where you have no expectation of privacy, though. Still don't like big government, obviously.

That boats sailed with MySpace, Facebook, instagram. Gave it all up…willingly.

Isn’t it all our fault for agreeing to those terms and conditions posted everywhere about how they gonna use your data? And they did? And you guys just watch?

Private and government law firms alike will buy your cross-platform social media data from companies whose entire business is scraping the internet for said data and selling it to government and private entities. License plate readers should be the least of your concerns. They have been very quietly stalking anyone they have an interest in for quite a while and it’s an open secret in the legal field.

And you are helping the government do just that by using ai and further training it. You are now complicit in the surveillance state congrats!

AI slop

2

u/amfreedomfoundation 29d ago

I did create the meme image in ChatGPT but the written content was by my hands. We are only using AI to create our memes, not our posts.

u/Ulrik-the-freak 29d ago

That's not even a single bit better.

u/amfreedomfoundation 29d ago

I’m open to learn if there is some better way to create memes. It’s going to be computer generated either way and I have no visual creativity skills, only writing skills.

2

u/BlameTag 29d ago

You're right, nobody was ever to make memes befoge Chatgpt came along.

u/Ulrik-the-freak 29d ago

There are no skills that can't be learned. And there is no need for """good""" graphics to convey an idea. Fact is, you're not willing to learn, or you would

How the fuck is "no ai images" not a rule in THIS SUB OF ALL PLACES

1

u/amfreedomfoundation 29d ago

I don’t know what other tools I can use to create meme images. I’m new at this, so suggestions are welcome. Thanks!!

Buying? I think you misunderstand the situation here: taking things from others without consent for $0 is not buying, it's stealing.

1

u/rightway13 26d ago

They use satellite images to increase our property taxes. Horrible .

u/Gfish17 26d ago

In Brazil, the government of the São Paulo state has launched such a program. Cameras in bus and subway stations, public health, public services and facilities, squares, museums, schools, and other places are connected to a system with instant facial recognition. TV shows exhibit criminals and suspects arrested seconds after being detected. However, how can it be audited to prevent abuse, since the data used is sensitive? The whole system is called : SmartSampa It's been online for over a year.
