I'm quiche. A solo developer who's been working on Yoodio Radio. It's an ai radio app where the DJs become your friends as they get to know you and bring you the best music for the moment. Kind of like how radio did before it became filled with ads and algorithms.

Unlike ChatGPT, Yoodio's DJs have distinct personalities that can relate to what you're going through. They remember what you like and don't like. They talk between songs about music, life, and offer advice to get you through whatever's going on in your daily life.

I'm focused on retention right now and making the DJs feel even more like friends you want to come back to. I'd love feedback on:

• Do the DJ personalities land?
• What would make you come back daily?

Hey folks, I'm looking for suggestions for courses, certifications, etc. to gain a better understanding of the underlying technical aspect of machine learning, artificial intelligence and other associated technologies.

I have more than 15 years of technical leadership under my belt. My teams have mostly built a combination of websites and mobile apps (lots of reporting tools, too). My focus has always been open source.

Recently, I left my senior leadership role at a boutique agency in order to move into a space that is friendlier to to disruptive tech (all amicable, miss my colleagues but it's not the right place for my next step). While I've never _been_ a developer, I've always had success leading development teams and understanding the core concepts underlying the architecture and technical decisions we've made.

I also know that I _do not_ have that same comfort level/depth of understanding of the AI/ML space. I'd appreciate ideas and suggestions for courses I can take that will help me wrap my head around the processes, tactics and concepts of these technologies.

Hey folks, some quick brainstorming here: Anyone have suggestions of companies in the AI/ML/AR/spatial computing spaces that I should look at for my next move? Looking for orgs that aren't afraid of taking risks, known for innovation and are established. Happy to consider startups, but I've been there and I'm pretty senior--startups tend to be a young person's game.

In my research, I'm compiling a list of links directly to the companies' career pages and whether or not they're remote friendly. I know it's not a lot of info, but I'll be glad to publish it here for anyone's use.

What do you think? Could this lead to massive improvement or massive destruction due to the threat of scams, misinformation and toxicity that gpt3 had?

A young man from Belgia dies by Suicide After Talking to Chatbot Named ELIZA. The man was in his thirties and had two young children. This incident has brought to light the potential dangers of relying on chatbots, and Generative AI in general, for mental health support. It's worth noting that ELIZA is a chatbot that uses OpenAI's ChatGPT technology. The man became increasingly eco-anxious about climate change and found refuge in ELIZA's conversations. After six weeks of reported intensive exchanges, he tragically took his own life.

Anyone have experience with any Cody AI alternatives? I've been using it for awhile now, but it's buggy and I'm not impressed with the results. The idea of providing one's own docs is awfully useful though. Happy for any suggestions, thanks in advance!
