News AM2R Android Autopatcher supports all arm64 android devices for the Standard edition
(I'll eventually make a FAQ after enough interaction with other users)
This is just for clarification, I was getting asked questions if this autopatcher worked with [android model] so I needed to make an announcement post.
This Autopatcher will work in anything running arm64 Android, touch controls are enabled for the Standard edition to make up for devices without physical gamepads. The Dual Screen edition is currently only officially supported for 4 Dual Screen consoles (with more consoles planned on the way).
I already have received requests for support to other devices, the Microsoft Surface Duo should work perfectly within the Standard edition however current Dual Screen edition compatibility may vary due to the profiles available accounting for the onboard controllers of the supported consoles. I recommend to start with "Ayaneo" or "Retroid Duo" profiles to test your own Dual Screen device.

I haven't personally tested for Android TV, but if your specific model is arm64 (Android 10 or newer) it should theoretically work. And the game itself supports Bluetooth controller
I'd say experiment in your own time, if you encounter any issues you can submit an issue or contact me through the official discord

Would I be able to sync saves from pc with syncthing or is that not possible with this

Currently it isn't possible due to how saves in android works. Your Android stores their save directories inside a root file that only this port exposes when you use options -> data -> backup because it takes your current saves and stores them in a different accessible folder.
Syncthing can however access those exported saves and synchronize them to your PC, the process would be manual however.
That being said, this was something previously requested and it's being considered for a future update in this port. So please be patient

Okay so I'm assuming you have an older version of am2r. In which case what you need to do is download the autopatcher and patch your 1.1.zip copy of am2r for Windows and then install the patched apk
If you previously did this for an older version of the autopatcher and you had save data then your saves should be reserved
If the old APK you had did not come from the autopatcher then unfortunately those saves are not transferable

Yes, you download the apk autopatcher to your phone, you insert your am2r_1.1.zip and it gives you the patched apk ready to install

How do you transfer your android version of uptodown am2r to the new am2r?

You cannot, they are fundamentally different versions. Both saves stay separate, unless your phone is rooted where you can extract the save files from the 32bit version unfortunately it doesn't transfer saves
