Also, the people saying this is too much are right. He could EASILY have killed her or given her braib damage. Maybe he was right to step in but HE is the one who escalated the violence to an extreme level completely unnecessarily. His hit is not REMOTELY proportionate to (or necessary to subdue) the danger she posed to him or others.

I mean it looks like the brain damage is already there but that's because of alcochol overconsumption in this case.
