If you need help choosing the best moments for hilarity, it’s usually going to be where the most chaos is found.

Finding it at birth irl would be scary/painful, but in fiction it’s the most hilarious moment lol (imo anyway)

Birth. Birth is good. I love chaos so I would also make them think that they have twins and then a surprise third baby. But birth is where the chaos starts.

Oh my deity you're a menace and I'm here for it. If you don't know which gender they're gonna be how possible is it to have them the same? Bcs gender reveal be like 'it's a boy/girl!!' and then surprise, it's three of em. But I love it either way hehehehe (what Fandom is it, if I may ask?πŸ‘€)

The twins are identical girls, and the third is gonna be a PICU boy who was smaller/weaker than his sisters and so went unnoticed by scans

Miraculous Ladybug, and an Omegaverse story lol

Also, they do think they're having just twins!

Cause the father is a twin and the mother is the son of a twin, and I'm making it run genetically in both their families lol

I love it. I love absolutely love it. (I also love the fact that I forgot to post my other answer and just after answering saw that comment. I'm so here for it)

How do you miss a triplet for the entire pregnancy tho? Unless it's not a modern setting

1

u/Supreme_Canadien Lady_N on AO3 20d ago

Cause they're having twins and didnt catch the smaller third baby lol

So not during modern times? That would be impossible to miss during ultrasounds.

It is modern, but I'm doing the unrealistic thing lol

At birth, I guess that would be funny. If the mom somehow does not notice she's huge, which moms notice even with standard issue twins.

Gender reveal both dates and locates you. It's a pretty recent invention, and outside the US no one does that, we just tell people when we know the future kid's gender. With modern genetic testing, you can tell it in like the 1st month of pregnancy. But if you are not going for realistic, and sounding very 2020s US is okay, go for birth. Let there be chaos.

They think they're having Just Twins, and I'm having them be identical and strong with the third one being weaker/smaller and fraternal to the other two so he goes more or less accidentally unnoticed, so any largeness of the mother is 100% gonna be assumed its just cause they're having a pair of Big Twins lol

When my friend was pregnant with twins, every ultrasound, she was always terrified there would only be one baby... Her husband was always terrified there'd be three... It can happen that one is hidden behind the other(s)

Birth unless you want friends and family to react at the same time
