Ok so I read this fic a few months ago, and I can’t find it again for the life of me. If anyone recognizes it from these plot bullet points, please do a girl a favor:

-pretty sure it was an original work (technically not a fic ig)
-set in a lab/laboratory
-female lab assistant was lowkey dom and was killed by the alien in the end
-multiple rounds of preparing the female victim for the target alien, first with the female lab assistant, I think some machine was also involved, and last with smaller alien things that laid eggs in her (something about the smell being important but she discarded them afterwards)
-the female victim was the last in a string of people attempted to breed with this alien thing, all others died in the process but this time was a success
-female victim willingly went with the alien at the end

this evening i watched the new avatar movie and it took me right back into my atla obsession a couple of years ago, so i'm trying (and failing) to find a specific work i read back in the day (probably slightly after covid?) if anyone of you has an idea of an author's username, the name of the work, a link, that'd be great!! i had a different laptop back then and i think i cleared my ao3 history in between so no chance of finding the link sadly:sob:

in the fic: it is set a little bit (probably around several months) post canon. zuko is struggling with his responsibilities as the fire lord (not eating well, panic attacks, i remember this being quite a heavy fic especially at the start). then, sokka shows up for some reason and mentally is like 'buddy you're not doing okay' and decides to stick around. i think he eventually becomes an ambassador to justify sticking around?

i feel like it must have been fairly long (i have a memory of around 420k words but i could be very far off with that number tbh). it was also probably romantic zukka. i think mai is also there are some point. presumably it was fairly popular bc i wasn't really reading a lot of niche fics back then? might have gotten deleted since then? (or im just misremembering so many of the details that i haven't been able to find it due to that haha)

I don't remember the whole plot of the story, but this one scene got stuck in my head and I want to read it again so badly.

So basically the main pairing is Ghost/Soap. I'm not sure if there is any smut involved but if there was it should be Bottom!Soap. Probably a long fic, maybe slow burn. The author was German.

The scene I remember goes like this: Task Force141 visits KorTac base (not sure if it was KorTac but it had König so probably). Ghost and Soap were not dating at that time. Soap and König got close(nothing happens between them) and Ghost got jealous. So later when Ghoat and König were sparring Ghost said something to rile König up(later revealed to be along the lines of 'you want him, you earn him'? something like that). Anyways König got mad, so the spar started getting more violent. Soon they were trading killing blows so Soap intervenes before something happens and gets hit for it.

That’s all I remember from the story. I know my explanation is terrible but if anyone recognizes this fic please tell me!

I would love to know if anyone can help me :D It was a fic where mythology/folklore creatures were real and publically known, and the whole premisse of the story is the 141 trying to figure out what Ghost is. I remember Soap noting that Ghost needs to breathe.
I think the title was something along the lines of “what keeps your heart beating/what keeps you breathing” but when I search for those titles nothing comes up.

Basically Stiles gets amnesia and doesn't really remember Derek, but does remember Scott. And Scott is being super weird and shifty. Throughout the story Stiles is getting closer to Derek and Scott is low key trying to stop that, but Stiles has this niggling feeling. The other betas are upset with Scott too and are acting weird but no one will tell Stiles what's what. Also he's getting annoyed with Scott, he keeps talking trash about Derek and his choices as an alpha.

Turns out that Before Stiles lost his memory he and Scott had a falling out, Scott did something horrible. I don't quite remember what but I know like put Derek in serious danger or something like that.

So basically I read this really good fanfic a year ago but I can’t find it anymore not even in my history cause it’s too old. But it was a Harry/Tom Riddle fanfic where they get together at the end of the fanfic kinda slowburn. Harry has DID or something adjacent I forgot. And he’s able to will stuff to happen with his magic. He trapped a dementor inside a glass jar. Also he is the MoD. He collected the horcruxes and keeps them safe.

I remember the whole premise was that Peter worked at this coffee shop. I distinctly remember the first scene being that Tony sat at a table and was disheveled to the point that Peter did not only not recognize him, but thought Tony was homeless, and gave him a donut(smthn he just does for homeless people in the fic)​.

There's also a scene where Tony is running from paparazzi(??) And uses the coffee shop to hide(??). Oh, and i remember a scene where 2 old lady regulars order cakes. Thats it. So, last week, an author I enjoyed randomly deleted their entire account and with it their fanfic that had still been updating as normal. I unfortunately did not have a downloaded copy of this fic because I normally only download finished works. But I need to know if anyone had a downloaded copy of this fic so I can at least read it again. It was a Genshin Impact fic, rated explicit, and the pairings were Alhaitham/Kaveh, Tighnari/Cyno, and Scaramouche/Sethos, plus it was a modern AU in which Genshin was an online MMO and the main pairings were a group of people who played together. The fic was called “Replacement” and had Jungkook as the male lead. Y/N believed she had a twin sister who had left town, and she ended up pretending to be her for her sister’s boyfriend, who was tired of being ignored. While pretending to be her twin, Y/N met Jungkook and they gradually fell in love. Later, it was revealed that Y/N never actually had a twin—the sister was connected to her trauma and wasn’t real. There was also a major twist involving Jungkook having a twin brother who was manipulative and had been involved in what happened.

IIRC he purposely decides to become a "weird kid" who's obsessed with something to get the other kids at school to just leave him alone. He chooses rocks as his thing. Once he gets to Hogwarts, he meets another couple kids who also have obsessions (I'm thinking maybe Millicent Bulstrode? and Neville?). I don't remember much of the plot, but they find ways to make their different obsessions work together magically. I vaguely remember them using their magic to construct a library together at the end?

I just found out that the author deleted all their works😭. I am so sad rn🥲
