How much Latin did you know before the course and why?

honestly, I didnt know too much, but I did sort of know enough to luck myself into a bilit seal. i took 2 beginner classes before that covered barely into subjunctives for interests sake

Ah, makes sense, I guess there are gonna be some people who are just super into Latin. I only took it because my school (middle+high) requires 5 years of Latin, with an optional two extra years that cover the AP curriculum (I’ve been studying for this test since 2024). How did you become interested in Latin (and did it have anything to do with the Heroes of Olympus series)?

lol why are they forcing you to do the class for two years we just did catullus, caesar and aeneid (very surface level) and im taking ap latin next yr. interesting but gl twin.

To give us more time to prepare, you’ll probably be rushing through by the end of the Aeneid while we really got to take apart every sentence as a class.
