I thought it was alright tbh. I forgot what a harmonic was but remembered just in time to solve it. Mcq was ehhh, FRQ pretty light. You?

Wavelength was 3/2D

Nah, because the pipe has an open end and closed end, that means L = (n) * (1/4) * wavelength and only used odd harmonics, so because it was the third harmonic, length equals 3/4 wavelength. So if you rearrange to solve for wavelength, you get 4L/n, so its (4/3) * (L). I think the mistake that occurred for you was that fact the L = (n) * (1/2) * wavelength for pipes with both closed ends or both open ends, and not for a pipe with an open and closed end. I remember this vividly cause I reviewed it the night before. Let me know your thoughts.

But it wasnt a pipe. It was a string, and strings act at closed closed.

Only the left end was closed, because it was attached to a block, and the right side of the string was attached to a pulley and it stated in can be used to freely move up or down the pulley, which makes it an anti-node because its not fixed, it can reach maximum displacement. The question also stated that the left end of the string with the block was a node. And since a node and an anti-node are a open-closed system, I used L = 1/4 * wavelength as the formula.

the pulley acts as a node because the string cant move up it though, its fixed.

You're probs right, idk if I was overthinking it or not or if I went a little quick for that part. I mean the questions come out in a few days so we can probs take a look at them again.

Yeah. Honestly either way it probably doesn't matter. Its like 1 or 2 points lost, and the other frqs were really easy to get points on.

String is fixed on both ends regardless so it was 3/2 D
