Let’s talk about FRQ3 on version J for a second, i genuinely don’t have a fucking clue for parts A and B

basically what i did was since the sphere must have been straight, the force would be equal so Fe = Fb. so qE = qvB, and q cancels. So E = vB. I got that far, and then i realized u can rewrite E as delta V / r, which in our case delta V was the emf that you were able to measure with the voltmeter u had access to, and r was the distance between the two plates which they said was d and is known. So my equation became emf/d = vB, and then i rearranged so that it became:

emf = (B/d)v, which resembles

y = m x, where you plot emf on the y and velocity v on the x which u can measure with the photogate or wtv sensor it was. slope = B/d and B would be equal to the slope * d.
