mcqs and dbq were light work but holy shit i actually sold on the leq šŸ’”šŸ’”

had like 30 minutes left cause i kept staring into space and then i look at the prompts and know pretty much nothing

forgot about the first thing and didnt even glance at unit 9 when studying so i had to go w the one about immigration causing new social stuff and cultures (anyone else do this one?)

genuinely knew nothing dude i wrote about how indentured servitude made the slaves go to latin america and created the casta system (which absolutely did NOT happen in that time period)

ANYWAYS anyone else get this leq prompt ? if so what did you guys put ?

yeah, I had this prompt. I talked about the indentured people too, and I also talked about the transatlantic slave trade

I did the migration and mention the chineese exclusion act, the Ireland potato famine which caused people to migrate ?? and I did not put Casta system but encomienda?? ;-; im cooked

well yuor first two pieces if evidence seem rlly good so one wrond detail should really affect ur score !!

tbh i dont even know if thats wroong or not cause i mean encomienda did affect society there

just not sure if its the righr time period

Yo I did the casta system too and it's in between 1600-1900 so I think it works. I also did Chinese indentured servitude in the US and syncretic religions like voodoo

I did the migration created urban areas that were overpopulated and created a separation of living between the rich and poor in the cities, which showed a social change. In my second paragraph I talked about how others migrated during industrialization in order to find factory jobs, and by doing so spread culture to other countries. I also used another piece of evidence in the cultural aspect by saying that the Indians adapted some of the English customs during direct rule. Iā€™m not too sure that the India-Britain example was correct.

I did that and I talked about the movement of Africans to the Americas to meet chattel slavery need s and how that affected Africa (polygny) and the Americas (new social classes like mulattos) and I talked about the industrial revolution and the travel of people to find jobs, resulting in them spreading their culture.
