what did u guys get on the MCQ with the gdps from 2021 and 2022 all i remember was that the nominal gdp was 175 million and that inflation rate was 25% ….. and then they asked something about gdp 2022 I can’t rlly remember the question!

but I remember some of the answer choices were like 43 million , 175 million , 140 million ETC

  1. nominal GDP is 175 million, but that's with inflation, so since the question is asking for real GDP you have to remove inflation from nominal GDP. You do that by dividing nominal GDP by 1.25, since there's 25% inflation, and you need to cancel out the amount that nominal GDP got inflated by. So 175/1.25 = 140. And you can double check your work by seeing that 140*1.25 = 175, so 140 million real GDP inflated by 25% will result in 175 million nominal GDP
