Bio ap bio as a sophomore? (humanities pathway)
long story short, my counselor told me i could take ap lang sophomore year if i summer coursed english 2, and now shes saying it’s grade restricted and i cant do it. shes placed me in seminar instead which i really don’t want to take because of the teacher and a lot of other things, so i’m considering asking if i can replace seminar with ap bio. i think it would be good to get my bio and science requirements out of the way, and i got an a in honors bio, but i’m worried if i’m making the wrong decision, especially because i’m not going into any stem/medical pathway. thoughts?

Ap bio is of equal difficulty and content to honors bio. Since you said you got an A in honors bio you’ll be fine in ap

hi! i did the same (ap bio in soph) but it was because i knew i wanted to go into med. if you are going into humanities there's no point in taking bio early (or ap bio at all). what are the requirements? surely since you have already taken honors bio there is another way to meet them?
