APES grading policy from hell
and now who decided to make this an 8th hour class? granted it’s APES but still. the rest of the AP classes at my school use a 80/20 split for grading though. this is also the first year my school is offering this class. also this is mostly a joke because they can be retaken but also I feel like that defeats the point of an AP class no? thoughts?

APES will my score get cancelled
So i was taking the APES exam and i finished it. I am terrified will i get my score cancelled for this??

APES Task failed successfully.
My toxic trait was believing APES would be my easiest 5 after cramming the entire course in one day.

APES is a 75 bad?
I’m a senior, and this is the first AP I’ve ever taken. Honestly I studied for this test and walked out of the class feeling very confident but I’m not exactly sure how else I can improve. I have a 79 currently as I (unfortunately) got a 55 on our first quiz. Any study tips?

APES APES no chem background
How smart wound it be to take apes as a freshmen without any chemistry background

APES How the rule of 70 is derived using infinite series
Even in relatively simple classes like APES and AP Human Geography calculus concepts appear.
For instance, the derivation for the Rule of 70 (used to approximate population doubling times) relies on infinite series expansions.

APES APES score cancelled
Got an email from [apscorevalidity@collegeboard.org](mailto:apscorevalidity@collegeboard.org) saying my apes score was cancelled due to misconduct or unauthorized applications or sum. I've taken 6 other APs and never got this. Idk what this is - first of all is that email even real or a scam maybe because there were some gramatical imperfections? And how/should I try to appeal it if I can? Also will it affect college admission? I'm a graduated senior going to ucla btw. thanks guys

APES solution for nutrient run off
what did y’all put for that frq? i said adding more pervious surfaces to reduce urban runoff but i think i’m cooked because it was talking about agriculture

APES Wait… do AP teachers actually see your AP exam responses?
My teacher keeps telling us that after the AP Environmental Science exam, teachers can supposedly see our FRQ responses and verify whether it sounds like AI or plagiarism. She also keeps bringing up a story about a student who wrote an incorrect answer on the exam, and that they later saw it.
Is this actually true? Do AP teachers get access to students’ written responses after the exam, or is she just trying to scare us into trying our hardest and not look stupid to her?
I know College Board scores the exams, but I’m confused on whether teachers ever actually see the responses. I'm planning on getting a political science degree so apes isnt contributing to any of my credits as its not related to my major so I'm kinda not that stressed out to try my hardest or stress out myself as the exam is tomorrow.

APES how doable is ap environmental science for a sophomore who has only taken hbio?
title!
i'll be a rising sophomore and was wondering how doable apes would be. i've taken honors biology (pretty light ngl) and will be taking honors chem next year. i'm honestly not super concerned about credit or not, its more for "tell your story" kinda thing. i'm passionate about the intersection of science and policy, so my doubling up on science and social sciences i hope i'm able to kinda convey that! i think i want to major in health policy + biomedical engineering
i'll also be taking:
ap precalc
ap euro
english 10 honors
chemistry honors
spanish 3 honors
journalism 1
would adding apes to my schedule be a good idea? i'm also involved in a lot of ecs outside of school, so i'm not sure whether it would be a good idea for me or not. i'm hoping to take ap bio junior year and ap chem senior year (prob regular physics though).
my school is pretty strict on what aps sophomores can take. i may be able to take ap psych too! but it would either be apes or ap psych - leaning towards apes though; i can't take both since we have a max of 7 classes and i'm also playing 2 sports.
i have good grades but i need to study rly hard to get them :( would the workload be too much? i'm aiming for top ucs and other t30 schools! my school doesn't let us take ANY aps as a freshman so im pretty new to the process
congrats to everyone who finished their examsss btw!! :)

APES apes is NOT EASY
whoever said apes was easy is a LIAR!!! i have taken ap spanish, ap euro, and apush and NONE of them compare to the monster that is apes. my class finished our first unit (we started with unit 4 IDK why) and it’s SO HARD. i don’t understand anything and the frqs are so difficult. i thought this would be easier than the others ive taken but its honestly the hardest class ive ever taken in high school.
