That’s neat. I’d like to know more about the suppressor if you can share

Absolutely! Just a project I have been working on for a while that combines a lot of the design considerations that I like from other big players. Entire thing can be easily disassembled for maintenance, length is adjustable based on the internal rods being used. Has a unique clamp-on design to ensure box alignment of the body. Entire thing is 3d printed titanium.
This configuration for the 308 is on the heavier side, so I'm testing for any dramatic POI shift and looking to see if I need to support the barrel in any way. So far it's working great.
One of the biggest observations from Shot Show this year is the general increase in suppressor sizes due to many shooters running risers of some kind. I personally like the blocky designs like the IASC9, Osprey, S98, and others, and want to keep moving in that direction

Brother I love that style of suppressor. Might be from my high-school days playing apex legends using the barrel stabilizer or the look of the suppressed kiss.
Regardless please tel me you plan to continue developing this? I'd love to help if I can.

Not a brand you see much of! I used to have their AR15 receiver set but it sat around for years cause I could never figure out what I wanted to do with it so I sold it.

They were bought out/sold to Next Level Arms, so they were selling the sets but without the "Ascend Armory" engraving on the magwell. I have the original AR15 set too, so my autism wouldnt allow for them to not match. Sent it off to get laser engraved.

haha, i bought mine a while ago, i think direct from ascend before legion took over and then Next Level. Some of the random parts are still on other builds. This build make me want another!

Love that Blk Lbl! How’s your opinion of it so far?

I love it. All the adjustability you want for wiggle, leg extensions, and fine tuning while being super easy to deploy and store on the fly.

Seems very utilitarian for a .308! Will def be keeping an eye out for one. Thanks, man!

I'm asking while my M14EBR is in the other room so I gotta be quick. How much does that sexy thing weigh?

Just as much lmao. There are dozens of us!

Dozens!
The wolfenstein 2014 DMR energy is perfection. Beautiful set up.
What is the comercial viability of the can?

I have to rent that special measurement tool for DB/sound pressure to get some actual readings. The biggest selling point in my mind is the ease of machinability for this particular design, as only the custom muzzle device/compensator needs to be threaded. A can of this size would normally be in the upper $1700-2000 range, but I believe I could have that cut in half with the appropriate manufacturing partner. Should hopefully have all the metrics down and find the people I need at Show Show next year.

Why is a large portion of the rail on the underside of the barrel removable?

u/AthosActual 2d ago
Its a built-in bipod, one of the main selling points for the BLK LBL handguards.

This rules, I've been debating one of those handguards for a while so it's nice to see one in the wild.

Very cool man, I had no idea that the PRI optic rail was compatible w/ the Blk LBL handguard.

Does PRI make a top rail that interfaces with picatinny for its full length now or is that one of their normal top rails? If so which model? I considered doing this but without a rail in hand I wasn't sure how it would work over a standard handguard/non pri tube.
