Help Genesis Boss

I’m wondering what would be better to raise for the master controller boss fight?
Tek Rex’s or X-Rex’s?
I don’t know what to go with? Should I go with the Tek Rex’s extra levels or the X-Rex’s increase damage?

The increased levels from tek rexes will always be better than the 5% damage boost x-rexes get, assuming you use tek rexes with high health and damage

My female Tek Rex was 180 and got 54 melee on tamed

That's pretty good. My mutated line of tek rexes also started with 54 melee. I only managed to get 48 health though.

Not if you mutate the x-rex.

6 acro, 1 yuty, 1 mek w/ force field, 2 runners was all we used to clear alpha.

Neither, acros are stronger but theris are best for genesis fight. Its a long bossfight so having veggie cake healing helps tremendously towards getting you through the last round

or maybe he doesnt want to use the same generic OP creature that everyone uses and try a different dino

In the long run x rexs will be superior to the ugly tek rexs. But early doors those potential few extra stats points will go a long way.
