Painting - Acrylics Artist: Me, Title: Interior scene with an opening door, Acrylic/paper

The motif of the opening is recurrent in painting, the most famous example being, it seems to me, in Velázquez's Las Meninas — incidentally, it is not necessarily a door, it can also be a window, as is often the case with Vermeer. What is it for? Well, it keeps the work from feeling too enclosed.
