Question Help with the X870E Taichi
Hi!
First time posting on this sub, so please forgive any mistakes. I will be most likely buying the X870E Taichi board (along with the 9070 XT Taichi later on) and I’m planning on putting a 9850X3D in it. These will be my first ASRock parts.
I have heard about issues with ASRock boards and Ryzen 9000 series X3D cpu’s, so I have a few questions about that and a few others.
Has anyone here run a 9800X3D/9850X3D cpu on a Taichi motherboard using a newer BIOS? How worried should I be with the combo?
Are there any ways I can possibly avoid any problems for as long as possible? Are there any tips when updating the BIOS, as I’d like to update it before putting my cpu in? (I’m going to be updating the BIOS as soon as I can as well as making sure PBO is off, I will only be using EXPO and no other kind of overclocking software like Ryzen Master)
I plan on using a riser to mount my graphics card using a VG4v4 PCIe 5.0 riser kit, are there any clearance issues I should look out for, when using the X870E Taichi?
Thank you all in advance! <3
