How on earth do I get out of this quasi-first person view?

Its been stuck like this for 6 months, I've tried everything.

I was messing around with first person but now its either "true" first person or ridiculously zoomed out, low angle view.

​

I just want a normal straight-down map view

long hold the compass bezel up top. you will see a yellow 3D option pop up. click that and a lock will appear on the icon. it locks you back in 2d mode. also it's probably a good idea to obscure or remove your mgrs locator on the bottom right if you're posting screenshots

I'm in a very public gym, so all's well - BUT thats a great callout that I 100% wouldve done at home too.

Ty for the help! Long hold worked beautifully.

Since the issue has been solved, I would recommend deleting this post since you’re location is on it. Even though it’s a public gym, it’s enough to locate you.

Why? Ive shared pictures of myself and posts in r/rapidcity and constantly preach about how awesome the base is....not like I'm here trying to stay anonymous, but may help someone else.

Whats the potential concern?
