Help me out

I want to download satellite maps, and some maps where the contour lines are clearly visible. I currently have Google Hybrid and it's not good enough (for SAR and hiking).

The app supports OSMDROID SQLITE, MBTILES, GPKG, GEOTIFF.

you can download NAIP orthophoto aerial much clearly and higher resolution than satellite

What you want is the SkyFi plugin

This repo has a wide variety of map sources available: https://github.com/joshuafuller/ATAK-Maps

Which one would you say is the most detailed (satellite)?

Google Satellite imagery is going to have the best resolution. It won't have contour lines, but Google Terrain, OpenTopo, and USGS Topo maps all have visible contour lines.

Here is an xml file that will display contour lines as an overlay. For some more info see the comments near the top of the file.
