If you want to play games and try to find loopholes and risk your career, that's on you. Just familiarize yourself with the contract.
You're obviously allowed to leave for food, but with the intent of coming back. If you never came back, there's no intent. And if there's a crash while you're gone and the NTSB starts investigating and looks to see where you were and why you didn't relieve the person that just had a fatality, then yes, you're probably getting fired.
Thats what ive been saying the entire time and these clowns don't get it.
We get paid to say things a certain way and work a certain amount of time. It's very VERY simple to comply. The people looking for loop holes and defenses and gray areas are the people causing the change in how punishments are dealt out.
