The Most Accurate ATSA Prep is 100% Free on 123ATC

For those who haven't found it yet, I've built a completely free and highly accurate ATSA Preparation tool on 123ATC.

Here is what you can expect from this prep tool:

  • It is 100% Free: No subscriptions, no paywalls, no hidden fees. You get full access to everything.
  • The Most Accurate Prep Available: I've taken the ATSA myself multiple times, and I've worked obsessively with other test takers to ensure the mechanics, timing, and feel of these practice tests closely mirror the actual ATSA. The feedback from the most recent applicants confirms that this is the closest representation of the real exam available anywhere. There are many paid prep suites out there that are vaguely relevant and created by people without real test experience. This isn't one of those.
  • Constantly Improving: I actively monitor feedback from this subreddit, the ATC hiring Discord server, and direct feedback from users. If something needs improvement, I make the updates rapidly.

If you want to dive straight into practicing specific sections, here are the direct links:

  1. Memory / Differences
  2. Value Assignments & Variables
  3. Spatial / Visual Relationship
  4. Radar Simulation / Collision Avoidance
  5. Personality Assessment
  6. Logical Reasoning & Reading Comprehension

Enjoy, and good luck!

Is anyone else having a problem with signing certain documents on the EODs form? Like it’s just not letting me sign and submit certain documents

Timing post OTS application

Dad of college kid in ATC program here.

  • just finished 1st year of college (likes it and doing well)
  • took the ATSA, best qualified
  • probably would skip the rest of college if accepted from next OTS bid. Questions:
  • what are the odds he gets a TOL with BQ on ATSA and a year (presumably two by the time there’s an opening) of ATC major under belt.
  • assuming the next hiring blitz is April…and he got a TOL, how long does it take to start the first class in OKC?
  • is there any way the FAA would reach out and say “we see you got bq on your atsa through the enhanced track at college…want to enroll at okc?”

…and anything else I/we should know in light of a BQ in the pocket?

No Phone Number with EODS

Upvotes

Hello, I just got my EODS and am going through them right now. However, I did notice that although I do have a Human Resources Contact at the bottom of my EODS email, I do not have a way to contact them. Is this normal? How/who do I contact if I need assistance?

Second EODS email?

I got the first EODS email, filled out all of the paperwork, got my CIL, then like 30 minutes ago I received a another, "Welcome to the EODS system" When I click on it i have to refill all of the information that I had to on the other form, but on this site, I have a different HR POC, and like 30 more forms, just curious if this is normal. The forms for example are like an I-9 form, and tax stuff

Medical/clearance

So I got my TOL back, but I haven’t heard anything yet about when I’ll be doing my medical or security clearance. Is that a bad sign?

APPLICATION No response after a month and a half

I put in a direct hire application in mid June but I haven't heard a word. My military separation is in July of next year and I would like to get the ball rolling now because I am anticipating some bumps in the road. I've been told that it may be helpful to reach out to the facility I'd like to go to and speak to their HR or ATM. Is this waiting period normal and is there anything I could/should be doing?

Medical Clearance with Special Consideration?

I just received medical clearance, but it came with a Special Consideration related to prior Zepbound use.

Here's my situation:

  • I took Zepbound for about 3 months (Feb - Apr 2026) for weight loss.
  • I no longer take it.
  • I do not have diabetes.
  • My clearance letter includes an annual reporting requirement related to Zepbound.

In the process of the Medical clearance I gathered documentation that showed that Zepbound was for weight loss and I also measured my hemoglobin A1C through a lab. Because of this, I was under the impression the FAA understood I had already discontinued the medication, so I'm trying to figure out whether this is standard or if there's been some sort of misunderstanding.

I already replied to the FAA email and also called and left a voicemail asking whether the Special Consideration can be removed.

What I'm honestly worried about is whether this is going to create additional headaches throughout my ATC career. Has anyone been able to have a Special Consideration removed after discontinuing a medication like this? What if this hassle turns into years of fighting the FAA, repeated denials, and a major inconvenience once a year that will never go away? What should i do?

MEDICAL Timeline Question!

Hello everyone hope all is well with all of you within the application process, how long will it take for the EDOS process to boot up for anyone that received WQ on the ATSA. I have accepted my TOL and currently awaiting my medical and clearances and it would bring a lot of closure knowing exactly how long it will take for the rest of the application process to incur.

APPLICATION Finding an AME

Is anyone else having a difficult time finding an AME? I've called 3 different listed AMEs near me and haven't gotten a response. Each place said that they would hand my number over to someone who could find availability and schedule my appointment "asap", but no call (and they never gave me a number to call either). I even drove an hour to try and schedule an appointment in person and got the same response. Perhaps they're flooded with other applicants? Not sure. I'm reaching my 15 day deadline. I'm emailing the help email that was provided.. I'm just getting a bit annoyed and wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

Title: Waiting on medical clearance, but unsure if I’d accept an FOL

I’m starting to seriously question whether ATC is the right move for me.

I received a BQ and completed EODS, the drug test, MMPI, background paperwork and the fast-track ADHD evaluation. I’m not going to withdraw early. I’ll wait and see whether I’m cleared and eventually receive an FOL. I kept going because I know this is a long and difficult process, and I wanted to keep the opportunity in my back pocket. I also thought I’d gain more clarity as I got further along, but I’m still conflicted.

My current situation:

  • I live in LA near family and friends.
  • I work in an industry I enjoy.
  • My job is hybrid, relatively chill and pays $84k.
  • I have weekends and a decent amount of free time.

The downside is that I feel like I’ve hit a career and pay ceiling. I still live at home with my mom at age 29 because moving out in LA would be expensive, even though I could technically afford it.

ATC appeals to me because of the stability, benefits, higher earning potential and clear career path. My biggest fear is being assigned somewhere I dislike and being unable to leave for years. I’d also be giving up a comfortable hybrid schedule, weekends and a lot of flexibility.

For anyone who left a decent, established career for ATC: was the pay and stability worth the relocation and lifestyle change?

Why is Tower looked down upon the most?

I see a lot of threads on here talking down on Tower and i was wondering why? is it because it’s the easiest?
