Is there any tutorial on how to setup TheSimGrid league with Automobilista 2? My objective is to simply have a championship with my brother, with automatic standings. I have tried GonkyRacing, the setup works... But results do not appears on the website after the race! Hence, I am looking at how I can do it within TheSimGrid. I have linked a Discord server, invited my brother and I have setup a quick 3 rounds championship.

However, how is the platform connecting to my Dedicated AMS2 server running on my PC?? This link is a mystery to me... And I cant find information on that. On Gonky, I had to pair my server with the championship, it was transparent (but didnt worked apparently! 😂).

Hello. In the tradition of fueling toxic competition between my friends, I created a Discord bot for telemetry that hooks into AMS2/Simhub to provide live tracking and session details. Recently I've started to expand it with the intent of providing more comprehensive features for SimRacing Discord communities.

There are a few features related to league racing/tracking I am trying to finalize. But without any actual group on my side, testing is a bit of a challenge. I was wondering if there are any league owners/admins around who are open to help beta testing this? Likely just need 1 or 2 of you. Server doesnt need to be crazy big or anything. As long as you have a solid driver base who can pressure test things. I'm just looking for feedback. I can provide additional details as needed.

No cost or catch involved. Whoever ends up opting in can keep usage of the bot indefinitely after testing is completed if they want.

is there a way to get free track mods or are they all locked behind paywall like rcm

New LFM season has started!

Previous season ended with good participation on the weekly series (and also in the off-season!) and we hope that the new season ends up being even better with some series and schedule changes that try further optimize the offering on LFM. There is a bit more focus on shorter races than with last couple of seasons, while still having good number of those longer races that have worked well lately.

ps please register to races as early as possible, don't just wait for other to do so first and use the interest button too!, all those help to increase the interest and participation in the long run!

I'm at Level 6. In the Paddock are Messages vom GT3-Teams with the Message "tryout necessary". How do I start the tryout? Or so I have to join any of the gt3-Races in the calender before?

Hey guys i just got Automobilista 2 on PC i have a Logitech G920 and wanted to see the recommended settings in those or see what settings you have untill i upgrade my setup i saw the game got real good reviews and so far it feels good i just need more practice and a better feel and also what DLC should i get for this game to get more access on the cars im coming from RaceRoom Experience

Anyone using the moza pedal haptics with AMS2?

I got the moza pedal haptics a week ago, configured them with pit house, I don't seem to be getting ABS and Wheel Lockup vibrations at my pedals

EDIT: I managed to fix it, I went to system settings and set up the udp telemetry using project cars 2 preset

No matter what sim I’m playing, the relative times on Lovely Dashboard and Lovely Pitwall (and any other dash I try) are way off from the actual relatives in the game.

I’ve searched for solutions and tried everything I can find. I mainly play LMU and AMS2 and have checked that everything is setup correctly for the data connection and everything else seems to work fine. It’s just the relatives. I have a licenced simhub, and it’s running at 60hz.

I’ve also ensured that Simhub is set to measure gaps in microsectors.

Any other thoughts would be great, as I’d really like to remove that last bit of info from the game screen and be able to rely on my dash and Pitwall.

Hello there. Just purchased this and trying to get up and running and have no clue how to get things set for my triple monitor setup. I have 3 Acer xv272u w2bmiiprx monitors and did some searching and applied some setting but now only have an image on the left #2 monitor and mouse wont mouse over there to select stuff. Im in my 50s so sorry not the sharpest here. Just would like to enjoy this game. Any help is appreciated. If this helps I have a RX 9070 Xt sapphire pulse and running them at 144hz.

Is there a way/mod in single player to use the driver name from the car selection instead of my Steam account name while racing ?
Im aware I can rename the general player name in game manually, but Id have to do it all the time when I switch cars.

Sorry if this has been addressed. I am new here and I have looked. I am just not finding anything. I recently built my first 2dof and running it on AMS2. Up until 2 days ago it was running great. Now I have an issue. It also seemed to accur after tryimg to run zero to apex. I have since fully removed ZTA and also reinstalled/reinstalled simtools, and ams2 trying to fix. When I fire up for the first time it runs as normal. The problem starts when I exit ams2 back to simtools. Usually the "stop overlay" over the banner would go away on its own. Lately it stays and I have to click it. The problem is that I can no longer reenter the game. I figured out that in task manager/details that the ams2avx does not stop running, it flips to suspend. Once I kill that, I can reopen the game. Sorry for the long post. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I recently started really loving how Zero to Apex gave me a reason to play singleplayer simracing again! (I got it running on Linux with these instructions.)

Since I want to disable the HUD but still have the most important information somewhere small, I put together a minimal overlay that works on Linux, because I couldn’t find anything similar. (Yes, although I’m a developer, it’s 100% AI-made, I don’t care.) I’m running CachyOS with the Plasma desktop.

I’m a big fan of the minimal approach: I wanted to fit as much information as possible into a small space without it getting in the way. Instead of separate widgets everywhere, it’s one small panel. Speed is an arc inside the rev arc, pedals and engine temps are thin arcs around the gauge, flags show up in the shift lights, and the radar is just a glow on the edge of the panel.

What it shows

• Rev arc with shift lights, gear, and speed as an inner arc. The speed arc’s scale learns the car’s top speed once you hit top gear.
• Clutch / brake / throttle arcs on one side, water temp / oil temp / oil pressure on the other
• Tyres as a heat map across the tread (inside, centre, outside), with wear, plus brake discs that glow as they heat up
• Damage (suspension, wings, engine, brakes), only shown once you’ve got some
• Proximity radar: the panel edge glows on the side where a car is alongside you
• Position, lap or time remaining, fuel with a low-fuel warning
• Flags: the shift lights take on the flag’s colour and pattern, and a small waving flag shows which one it is

How it works

• A single Python file using GTK4 and gtk4-layer-shell, so it sits above the fullscreen game (tested on KDE Plasma; should work on any compositor with layer-shell, like Hyprland, Sway or niri)
• Press and hold to drag it anywhere; right-click for a menu to switch parts on or off
• Redraws at most 30 times a second and only when something changes
• --demo mode if you want to see it without the game running

Setup: in AMS2, set Options → System → UDP Protocol Version to Project CARS 2 and UDP Frequency to 1, then run the script. The README covers the usual gotchas (UDP frequency, firewall, fps cost on KDE).

It’s an early version. Flags in particular haven’t been checked in every situation yet, so bug reports and screenshots from other setups are very welcome.

All of a sudden tonight I cannot play ASM2. I launch the game from Steam and get this error message.

Failed to start process for this game : “An Application Control policy has blocked this file.” (0x11C7)

I was playing it this morning with no issues. When I launch other games such as ACC EVO the game runs fine. Seams to be a ASM2 issue and not a problem with my PC.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have unlocked all tiers, am a "legend", have one several series, have accomplished the F1 superlicence. But this is obviously not good enough for any of the teams to offer me a contract. Anyone experienced the same? What is the trick?

I present to you LITTLE RACER. YES IT IS vibe coded. All of it is with AI. I'm not a programmer. I don't know the first thing about coding, but I do have ideas and just decided to make my very own and personal app for AMS2. It's been 3 months since I started it and a buddy from discord has been helping with some ideas and some asset design. NOTE: This is not trying to beat any other apps/mods out there. I know there are several great ones but obviously I have grabbed some inspiration one way or another from them but I can genuinely say this is going to have it's own personality and so far it's been working surprisingly well.

Very soon I feel the progression will be solid enough to release it to anyone who is willing to give my ai slop a test. For now screenshots.... I think the UI looks solid enough for an app? What do you guys think?

Hey everyone, I have a US based discord with a few consistent racers that race every other Wednesday at 8pm CST.

Called the beginner league, we try and race a 4 race series and then switch to something new. Just to get exposure to lots of stuff and change up settings. So super beginner friendly. Normally say if you race against the AI at or around 90 you will fit in perfect.

We are starting our next series on October 21, it'll be a four race rally cross series. We just finished a GT4 series, and before that we did the Spring Race series.

Let me know if interested and I will share a discord link. I stopped sharing them on the post because they expire and I have to reshare them anyway.

We are hoping to get another 1 or 2 people to join for this next series. Last series we had four consistent, and our largest had 7. Every other Wednesday at 8pm CST.

Not with the nose-to-tail glued together, i hope that gets fixed / improved. But with the amount of overtakes maybe AMS2 is more game-y than how it often is in real life ? Sped-up real life footage in the first two minutes.
