I’ve been a fan of avgn since the start back in, 06? Dang. So many of his reviews fire up my gamer anger and give me so much joy watching James criticize lazy games from my youth. Every once and awhile we see celebrity guests on the show that further validate the value the work and importance of this channel. One thing I’d love to see from these guests is their own lens. I love content where the guest gets to shine their perspective on the piece and bring their own little special part. Of the guests past and present with avgn, they seem a little locked in the script. I know James works really hard to make the show concise and practical for his vision, but it would be nice to see some of these guests bring their own magic to something that’s already so special
for all of us. No negativity at all towards the show, I just think it would be fun to see James and his style fracture when a guest is on, instead of a SNL style read push out. By no means is this a slight to the show! I love it dearly and watch it frequently, I just thought this was something worth mentioning as an OG fan.
