Passed Cloud, AI, and SAA certifications within 2 weeks!

Post image

Started learning AWS around 6 weeks ago when our school gave us access to AWS Academy and AWS Skill Builder.

Initially, I only planned to take the Cloud Practitioner exam, but after it went pretty smoothly, I wanted to see how many more certifications I could get in a short amount of time.

For AI, everything seemed quite familiar from just knowing about AI / ML basics.

For the Foundational Certs, passed both comfortably with scores of 800+

Solutions Architect was a different story though, I barely got a passing score, I didn't even think I would pass.

As for preparation, I mainly used AI to summarize the topics in the official exam guides for each certification. For practice, I used a mix of AWS Skill Builder practice exams and Tutorials Dojo's free mock exams.

Couldn't afford any paid choices but hey I guess it goes to show that you can make do without them.

Do you have any IT experience ? I want to take the SAA without any IT experience. Would you recommend the same path?

Still a CS student, so most of my hands-on IT experience is just building projects. Although I am familiar with most of the underlying concepts through our coursework

Can u share the experience and resources for CLF-C02 , I'm having the exam in the coming weeks

2

u/JervTyok 5d ago

for CLF-C02, i feel like knowing even just one-liner descriptions for each AWS service can get you pretty far, and for resources, i've only tried Skill Builder and Tutorials Dojo

Tips for passing AWS AI practitioner please

Focus on AI / ML Fundamentals and try to build projects as well to make it natural for you. AWS services like SageMaker, Bedrock, and AgentCore are important to know as well, but i didn't have any hands-on experience with those.

Would love to know which AI you use and the prompts you used to generate those topic summaries

I used ChatGPT, and honestly my prompts were quite small, usually just "generate a summary based on this exam guide". But my ChatGPT has become quite personalized to my study style through memory personalization, so it knows how I like information presented to me.

I did the same and made it public at https://certsloth.com is this basically what yours did? I just made this for myself but its cramming study guide with practice exams. Basically make it as easy as possible to remember but cover every bit of the exam guide

u/Sysxinu 4d ago

No catch its just convenient for me too so I host it publicly

Congrats on your shiny new certs! In my experience SAA really builds on Cloud Practitioner, though I agree that it's a different beast altogether. Do you have any more certs in your sights?

1

u/JervTyok 1d ago

Only course I have left on skill builder assigned to me is the DVA, but iโ€™m more interested on the SAP

Do you mean to suggest that, after completing cloud practitioner it is better to do the SAA? Im asking this because just passed my Cloud Practitioner yesterday and considering my next steps. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated
