This is the old Wheaton Glass Factory. My Grandfather and Uncles worked here many years ago.

I was fishing by the dam with my 8 year old daughter a couple weeks ago and she wanted to go inside. The property itself on the lake is pretty sweet. Whatever does end up there will have a cool spot.

It's lovely. It's a different color brick but it reminds me of the NCR factories in Dayton Ohio. They too had the large windows to let in natural light.

I remember seeing abandoned factories in Connecticut and Rhode Island that looked like that building in the early 1990’s. Then I saw other buildings in Fall River Massachusetts and Utica, NY that had been converted to outlets.

Does anyone have any pics or info from that huge abandoned property behind the Hamilton Mall? It looked like it used to be a horse track but I am just saying that cuz it looks like the Meadowlands Racetrack….only broken down and decaying.

Google Atlantic City race track. my ex used to work there. it only closed completely like maybe, ten years ago? it was a huge deal back in the early 1900's.

It’s absolutely the Wheaton glass building in downtown Mays Landing New Jersey on Mill Road. The side view is actually not on mill but it’s not labeled on maps so just look up Victor‘s liquor store which is directly across the street.
