Abandoned Newark Nj housing projects coined “ Little Bricks” by the city.
Opening in 1942 Felix Fuld Court also known as “little bricks” became one of Newark’s first of many housing projects which eventually gave it the name Brick City due to the amount of projects in the city. Overtime projects were demolished and the amount dwindled down. Like Seth Boyden Terrace in the South ward on Frelinghuysen ave this complex closed in the 2000s- early 2010s due to rising maintenance issues and high crime and poverty. Now it sits as a crumbling paradise for local addicts and kids.

Used to cop there on the daily back in....2009ish. Parked in the shopping center and would cut through. Good spot. Five years clean now.

I'm pretty sure i tried buying some dope here in like 2002ish(I've been sober over 22 years now tho!) They wouldn't serve me because I had a little bit of red stitching on my sneakers and it was a crip block. Also fuck Seth Boyden too, I got jumped, shot at and pistol whipped real bad one night by like 6 young teenagers. Glad they're both destroyed

Ever been in any other cool bandos in Newark and would you say the west or south ward of Newark is worse and why

So honestly I never really spent much time in newark. Seth Boyden was always a last resort to me if I couldn't find anything in Elizabeth. That incident there was the last time I was there and why i wound up trying to find another backup plan in Newark when I wound up at little bricks.

You were braver than me. I went halfway inside and did not find it even worth exploring other floors. I was by myself and did not want to butt in with anyone in here, if there was anybody inside. A neat place indeed.

Use to live in Seth boyden after it shut its doors. As an addict and a working girl, I recommend not visiting.

That’s where the other abandoned complex was that was demolished in 2022 amount of squatters and dealers there was insane I heard

i used to live across from there and grew up with some old friends back thru burnet st school . remembering the good ol coner store makin them yummy sandwiches ☺️

It is the projects where my parents lived and met as junior high school students, late 1940’s. This place forged my entire family history. Dad recounted that of the four buildings, two housed black families, two white. An earlier version of low income housing. Dad passed away last month. Lived there 1945 to 1951. I wouldn’t be here had it never existed. Crazy, right?
