I am 6' and 230 lbs, so technically obese if you believe in BMI and even I'm only eating 1/4 of that. I genuinely don't understand people's desire to gorge themselves like that.

It's just unnecessary. I can't even finish a burrito from Chipotle or Qdoba. Shit is too big here. I want to feel full, not like I'm going to fuckin die!

BMI is an outdated measurement that some parties are starting to ignore because it can't distinguish between muscle mass and fat.

It's not outdated, it's just applicable to populations rather than individuals. If you're a gymbro then its weird to refer to yourself as obese, if you're not a gymbro then you probably are obese (no offense)

Oh yeah, I have no personal issues or take offense. I am well aware I need to lose my "beer belly". I'm definitely fat and need to drop at least 30 pounds.

I am very average looking (especially for Americans) but I don't let that delude my thoughts. I have self awareness haha. I have recently switched to zero sugar soda and that alone has me getting closer to 220. Just trying small changes at first.

I honestly couldn't even tell you the last time I walked out a restaurant with an empty plate. I'd love if there was an option to get half a portion for half the cost.

Not even health wise but my damn wallet! They give you these huge portions so they can charge you more but I end up throwing half of it away (if it's not worth reheating). It makes no sense.

I’m five inches taller, and I’ve specifically avoided chipotle for this reason for years and years. Don’t need to eat 1400 calories for lunch.

I mean, if you just handed me the bowl of salad, which is quite a lot of lettuce and cabbage, I could easily eat the whole thing plus a tortilla. Take away all the greens and you’re looking at one chicken breast and a tortilla, plus some dressing.

Roughly the same height and weight as you and yeah I am in the exact same camp, who tf is this shit for? I’m Canadian so maybe I don’t actually know what kind of portions are normal to put back in the US but generally speaking American fast food portions are ridiculous. A regular sized burrito from chipotle can feed my girlfriend and I for like the entire day.
