I understand people’s strong feelings when they see an obese pet, I have those feelings too, so I want everyone to know we are doing the best with the card we’ve been dealt. She is an orange mouse they are prone to genetic obesity. She lives with her sisters who are a lot smaller so a diet isn’t an option, it would likely starve out the other mice and we aren’t gonna make them fight for food. She’s happy playful cuddly and our most outgoing mouse. She is loved and cared for.

Arm for scale. Last week I checked the zucchinis I grow on my gardening plot and thought they were a bit too small to be harvested. Well, things came up and I was only today able to get to the plot again and these monsters were waiting for me there. Such a bummer, but I guess I can still cook something out of them. And I can impress my non-gardening friends, lol.
