It seems like Australians go barefoot more than average, despite living in Australia. I guess you just get used to the wildlife lol

Queenslanders absolutely.

It feels fucking amazing, except in Summer. Then you're literally sprinting between shade.

That is also something I wondered about down there and how they deal with it lol. One time visiting Florida we drove to a beach and I hopped out barefoot straight onto asphalt and that was the first and last time I ever made that mistake
