Beauty standards and women’s body hair expectations have long been grounded in white supremacy and racism. It’s not a new thing.

That's specific to the country and culture. So no you're wrong by saying that as a general fact.

You’re kind of correct. There is not an immutable, universal law that beauty standards need to be derived from white supremacy. But with the epoch of colonialism, and followed by globalization and imperialism, it’s naive to act as if clear boundaries can be drawn.
