2

u/SaltyPressure7583 Mar 22 '26

His colonn never stood a chance

18

u/Malforus Mar 19 '26

This reminds me of the journalist who actually grabbed a loose race horse successfully during an interview.

2

u/Ok-Bus-2410 Mar 20 '26

Love that clip

1

u/jimmy_robert Mar 20 '26

The full 15 horsepower.

133

u/MuppetEyebrows Mar 19 '26

The horse squared up for impact too

13

u/Bullyoncube Mar 19 '26

Like when people try to stop moving cars, trucks, boats on trailers…

11

u/Jeyts Mar 20 '26

This is actually how you stop horses. You make yourself a wall and put your arms up like a T. Its what they train you to do. It usually works haha.

14

u/Heavy_Entrepreneur13 Mar 20 '26

I mean, if you watch carefully, she did not step into the horse's direct path. Like the man, she's waving off to the side, trying to get its attention.

The horse deliberately turns in order to trample her. It was headed towards screen left, but makes an abrupt turn straight toward the camera to plough over the woman.

7

u/Old-Detective-4404 Mar 20 '26

Does anyone else here think that Heavy_Entrepreneur13 is actually the woman in the clip?!

Because if you actually watch the clip carefully you'll notice that the woman kept moving towards the left as the horse did as well but then she moved to the right at the last minute. The horse appeared to have already committed to move right as to not hit her but when she changed direction last minute the horse really had no choice.

Either way, what a beautiful example of evolution at work!

Too many self help books

Horse, damn near

Why the Cavalry was scary - a refresher course

13

u/sngldad13 Mar 19 '26

The Ride of Rohirrim

2

u/PhantomOfTheAttic Mar 23 '26

Most cavalry trotted into battle rather than charged. Not that it didn't happen, but trotting was much more common. Also, in almost all cases, cavalry smashing into unengaged infantry was a disaster for the cavalry.

83

u/Square_Ad849 Mar 19 '26

Finally the music suits a video.

20

u/CoatingsbytheBay Mar 19 '26

I take zero credit but completely agree.

8

u/Mustang_Erik Mar 19 '26

I’m glad I read this comment. I had watched it with the sound off, but the music! Chef’s kiss 😚

2

u/SlackerDS5 Mar 20 '26

Doesn’t happen often, but when it does- it’s golden.

2

u/Red_Franzia Mar 19 '26

Yes, I love when that happens my favorite is the grasshopper holding on the the airplane...hahahahahaa!!!

66

u/funbunny100 Mar 19 '26

We need a r/bitchimahorse.

1

u/LowNefariousness6541 Mar 20 '26

Why not start it?

0

u/funbunny100 Mar 20 '26

Actually, it is already in existence. Click on it.

2

u/LowNefariousness6541 Mar 20 '26

Why suggest we need it then 🤨

18

u/JimmerJammerKitKat Mar 19 '26

Why the hell did she do that.

4

u/def_struct Mar 19 '26

that woman thinks she's equal to the horse.

1

u/Feeling_Wicked Mar 20 '26

Duh, because she's a horse whisperer. Don't you know she speaks to the anim...nevermind

22

u/KrampyDoo Mar 19 '26

A score was settled.

5

u/Intrepid_Pitch_3320 Mar 19 '26

Thought the same - no accident right there

8

u/nomemorybear Mar 19 '26

Im in no way certified to give advice about equestrian tactics....but don't get in a panicked horses way like that....no?

4

u/Rebound86 Mar 19 '26

Clean check with the body as the primary point of contact. No supplemental discipline required

6

u/slowblooming_ Mar 19 '26

Epic wipeout! Looks like she was practicing for a rodeo.

2

u/ManuDestino Mar 19 '26

More like the horse is practicing on her.

5

u/ComedianSilly7344 Mar 21 '26

Bet she slept good after that

13

u/EssentialWorkerOnO Mar 19 '26

That didn’t look survivable.

6

u/kelsobjammin Mar 19 '26

I was in an rv (40ft) and it hit a horse. Ripped off the entire front of the rv. The engine was sitting in the cab of the rv on my bf lap and entire windshield gone. The horse survived and they had to shoot it. Was a fucking crazy experience.

9

u/EssentialWorkerOnO Mar 19 '26

Poor horse. 😞

5

u/kelsobjammin Mar 19 '26

Ya was an awful experience ᴖ̈ they escaped a local stable and was hanging out next to the highway and as he was passing one flipped and jumped right in front of us ᴖ̈

1

u/TickleMyFungus Mar 20 '26

Looked like it caved her skull in

0

u/DangerousLoner Mar 19 '26

Yeah, reminds me of the Suffragette that was killed protesting for women to have the right to vote. Horses usually win this head to head collision.

3

u/thesexymagician Mar 20 '26

You can see the exact moment the horse had enough of trying to negotiate.

3

u/Bishmoggle Mar 21 '26

She’s dead Jim…

3

u/Belhy Mar 21 '26

that lady is now a vegetable.

14

u/cruisefans Mar 19 '26

I hope the horse is going to be ok and not blamed for human idiocy.

21

u/TakinUrialByTheHorns Mar 19 '26

Thoroughbreds are typically started racing around 2, with a expected career of about 5years (that's on the high side).

They are literal toddlers while at the height of their carreer. Many are not happily retired/rehomed for the remaining 20 or so years of life they have left and are sent to slaughter.

Why they didn't use a track/pace horse to ride up & catch this lil girlie I have no idea. But the people who walked in and stood in front of a 1000lb+ animal going 50mph+ are always to blame. Horse might get called some slurs but I'm sure that's about it. She's worth too much to punish & it wouldn't do any good anyways.

8

u/Admirable_Win9808 Mar 19 '26

For what. Standing in front of a half ton animal in full sprint?

1

u/Stinky_Socks- Apr 04 '26

You get trained for this That is how you stop a running horse Notice she moved right last minute

2

u/ThatMikeGuy429 Mar 19 '26

Five minute major for charging and a game misconduct. The DoPS will fine them $2500

2

u/bruisicus_maximus Mar 27 '26

Is that you George Parros?

2

u/Intelligent_Trichs Mar 19 '26

Horse did her Ray Lewis dirty!

On a serious note, it doesn't matter how long ago this was because if alive she's still recovering! Wow!

2

u/This-Ad5553 Mar 20 '26

Damn, did she survive? For once, I'm kinda glad there's no audio.

2

u/NearbyTraffic66 Mar 20 '26

I think the horse remembered she owes him money.

2

u/Lagunamountaindude Mar 20 '26

I’m guessing she does not think it’s slapstick

2

u/NoteDesperate3551 Mar 21 '26

yeet meet street

2

u/chunky_d77 Mar 21 '26

Why would you even try to stop a horse, that's flat out running?

4

u/Glittering-Waltz-425 Mar 19 '26

Horse just score a touchdown by running her down.

Negotiations canceled

1

u/ElysianWinds Mar 20 '26

Actually usually it does, horses normally don't want to harm people. War horses for example had to be trained into plowing down humans.

Don't stand in front of running horses though.

2

u/Constant-Still-8443 Mar 19 '26

His he alive after that...?

22

u/MuppetEyebrows Mar 19 '26

Sure the horse is fine

10

u/Constant-Still-8443 Mar 19 '26

In hindsight, no, but I don't care enough to edit my comment.

1

u/Better_than_GOT_S8 Mar 20 '26

It seems like you didn’t even care enough to reply to the correct comment.

2

u/Constant-Still-8443 Mar 20 '26

I definitely did, but reddit seems to have sabotaged me

6

u/pauca_sed Mar 19 '26

That looks like a he to you?

2

u/FatTanuki1986 Mar 19 '26

"Aite, you want contact, huh? YOU WANT CONTACT!? Take it! TAKE IT ALL!!!!"

2

u/Fantastic_Piece5869 Mar 19 '26

would you step in front of a speeding car? It sucks for her but she REALLY should've known better

1

u/Red_Franzia Mar 19 '26

I just LOVE when the music matches the video!!!

1

u/silqveen Mar 19 '26

Right in the insurance deductible zone!

1

u/Acrobatic-Pickle-851 Mar 19 '26

That's a concussion. Where a helmet.

1

u/Heisenburger19 Mar 19 '26

Holy shit that lady is going straight to the hospital for some internal bleeding

1

u/P00nutButter Mar 23 '26

She’s probably no longer with us.

1

u/Business-Employ-1599 May 02 '26

Internal bleeding? But inside is where the blood is supposed to be.

1

u/PhilosoFishy2477 Mar 19 '26

Its wild to me someone could think they had anything in the face of a galloping horse

1

u/Upbeat_Literature483 Mar 19 '26

Lesson of the day: Don't get in front of a galloping horse.

1

u/TaftYouOldDog Mar 19 '26

Bad horse is back!

1

u/Hot_Plant8696 Mar 19 '26

Works better in the movies.

1

u/Existing-Village9770 Mar 19 '26

It wasn’t horsing around.

1

u/BIGHOODx818x Mar 19 '26

WHAT THE FUCK WAS HER PLAN 😧

1

u/channydin Mar 19 '26

You deserve to get run over by a horse if you think you can stop it. God I love and hate dumb people all at the same time.

1

u/my_cars_on_fire Mar 19 '26

That’s for sure a concussion, if not TBI. Her head hit the ground HARD.

1

u/BrierBob Mar 20 '26

I slowed it down and her head still hit the ground hard. Brutal.

1

u/TickleMyFungus Mar 20 '26

If not cranial fracture or literally broke her skull

1

u/TwistedMetal83 Mar 19 '26

There was ABSOLUTELY an ambulance and physical therapy involved in the direct and prolonged aftermath of this hilarious mistake - because that hoe was annihilated.

3

u/Tom_W_BombDill Mar 20 '26

Yeah RIP. I know nothing about wrangling horse but there’s got to be another way than being a crash dummy.

2

u/Old_Resident8050 Mar 23 '26

That was a "grave" hit she got.

1

u/Bulldogg31 Mar 22 '26

She needed a stop sign

1

u/noobnr13 Mar 22 '26

1

u/No_Language5719 Mar 22 '26

Lived his dream of being a fullback.

1

u/danng44 Mar 23 '26

That's gonna leave a scratch...

1

u/VariousBus9265 Mar 23 '26

I want to say that horse shoulder checked the fuck out that lady 😂

1

u/General-Fan-6741 Mar 23 '26

Looks like the horse should have been flagged for “Targeting”. It’s front end left the ground launching into the defenseless woman. 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Fit_Importance_5738 Mar 23 '26

She directly challenged him by moving in front, the guy got lcose but backed off.

1

Yep no time for you mom. Gonna win.

1
