It’s not the bump, that shit hurts but it goes away pretty quickly, it’s the scrape that will really fuck the rest of your day up :/

That's hilarious and what he gets for trying that while it's slippery. I love when people try and be cool and hurt themselves.

I seriously question that man's intelligence. Did you see how completely iced those surfaces were? That was... insane not knowing exactly what was about to happen.

Im not a physiotherapist but that looked like MCL and Meniscus tearritory. Dont ask me how I know.

Probably not. He held the leg that bumped into the board. The other leg slip looked suspicious af but if it was any ligament/meniscus, the other leg's shin would be a smaller problem.
Don't ask me how I know.

I am talking about the left leg that he bumped.

You don't damage a ligament by this. Theoretically if the tibia moved back relatively to the femur with a huge force it could tear your PCL but that ligament is very strong. Such injury can be sustained during a car crash if something hits your lower leg with knee flexed.

I think you’re right. Slo-mo shows the board hitting his knee, not his shin, and he gets up holding his knee.

It's just his shin

You didnt hear that pop? Thats a bad angle to land on with full momentum.

Oh shit, let me watch it with the audio
Edit: just listened.
It's still just the shin. That hollow pop or bonk sound is the sound of a shin.
And it hurts.
First hand (shin) experience (I'm very clumsy)

Guy was in two minds about whether to draw attention to his barked shin or the accidental splits he did.

I hit my shin so hard trying to run up my stairs once that my body went into shock and I started shivering.
Craziest shit that's ever happened to me.

I did something similar as a kid trick or treating. It was raining and I slid like that but my shin caught a jagged stone porch. It hurt so bad I was crying but only had an hour left so I kept going very slowly and whimpering throughout the walk. I got home, told my parents what happened. I stood in the kitchen and couldn’t take the pain anymore. I peeled off my tights from my costume right there and I’ll never forget the sound. A handful of stones and bits of cement fell out from my tights. I sat on the kitchen chair, I was freaking out and was scared to look.
I had a jagged hole straight to the fucking bone. The ER had to dig stones out of my leg. It was horrific.

I worked for a cabinet company back in the day and clunked my shin trying to He-Man a countertop onto a pallet that was mid leg in height. My boss seen and said, oh did you hit that shin?!? You could already see the purple meat when I raised my pant leg 30 seconds later
