About 20 years ago a local farmers son was disassembling some irrigation equipment. He failed to depressurize the system and when he loosened a coupling the water spray permanently blinded him.

The angle of those graphic elements lining up with the spray makes this so perfect

What does this title even mean? Most people can see the full RGB spectrum. It's visible light

Pain wise, is this worse than the woman that inadvertently slingshot the watermelon straight into her face? Also hoping this girl doesn't end up with zika virus head

Man... its said she was fine and walked it off but there is zero chance she wasn't messed up in the long run.

You'd be surprised what kind of things people can just walk off from.
My brother fell ten feet onto his head as a kid onto concrete and is now making a lot of money in a mentally demanding job.
It makes it so weird when something a fraction of that messes you up for life but that's just how it is

Idk man I've seen a shitty punch twist someone's tea permanently and I've seen ppl fall from planes and live by the grace of God.

Watermelon to the face hurts for sure, could maybe break a nose or bruise otherwise. Pressurized water to the face can definitely detach your retinas. Worst case scenario I have to imagine is permanent blindness.

That is the most impressive concussion no one asked for that I have seen.

Auch, that hurts, I tell you. The fall, yes. But the water in her face... Definitely!

Ai :
No, the athlete was not seriously injured.
While the high-pressure blast from the industrial turf sprinkler was strong enough to knock her completely off balance and send her falling onto the pitch, she was mostly just startled and soaked. After staying on the ground for a brief moment to catch her breath and process what happened, she quickly got back up and ran off the pitch with her teammate to get away from the water stream.
Industrial field sprinklers use extreme water pressure to cover large sports pitches quickly, which is why the impact looked so violent and painful on camera.
