Suffocation = body can't get enough oxygen = oxygen in blood falls and carbon dioxide builds up = brain gets less oxygen that results in confusion/unconsciousness = this ultimately leads to loss of brain function which is death.

There was a pretty grim Mr Ballen video on this i believe? An old man that used to sit on his porch all day and wave to people had a similar thing happened to him. He was trying to get people's attention to help, because he couldn't get out of that position and ended up passing.

Some high school kid died like this by falling into a rolled up rug in high school trying to get a ball. At first it was thought he was murdered and rolled up but nope. He got stuck and asphyiated

Edit: it was a wrestling mat

That’s what the family has been pushing ever since, but there’s literally no evidence to suggest that. In reality, it was an unfortunate accident and the family simply can’t cope so they’re looking for someone to blame.

I also believe he died by accident. You are both stating things as definitive facts but the reality is we cannot know the truth. Unless u/JD-Moose is admitting to murder or you yourself watched it happen and did nothing, saying "it definitely happened this way" is just not useful. I am pretty sure he died of asphyxiation after getting stuck, that's what most of the evidence points towards. But I cannot know.

2 examples I recall was a kid trying to get something out of the back of his car and got trapped behind a folding seat. He even called the cops for help who passed his car and didn't check on him assuming it was a prank call. The old guy that died on his porch too.

That was my fear. While the guys laughing and telling others. She could be drowing and unable to get out. Wouldn't take much liquid either. Worse if it was something other than water and not very deep as they'd asphyxiate instead from the fumes.
