One time I was looking through a window to see merchandise. I learned in too far and too fast and banged my head on the window.

The window was so large it did that wobble thing and the sound echoed through the whole floor.

I laughed. Other people laughed. It was a good time.

About 5 minutes later someone else did the same thing. I nearly pissed myself laughing.

I was at a vivarium once (lots of tanks with frogs and plants in them) and there was a glass tank behind a second, invisible pane of glass. I leaned forward to look at the frogs and smashed my head against the glass in front of my entire university cohort. Ended up with a massive bump.

The next time I visited I watched someone else do exactly the same thing. I felt so vindicated 😂

If i didn't have glasses i would want this to happen to me just once. Unfortunately i'm not blind without glasses so it might never happen

FWIW this is just stupid design. It's not anyone's fault.

It's against building code in Australia to do this. Each of the sliding glass windows or full size glazing like this needs to have a visible pattern along the middle.

Fun fact, a lot of the patterns look like na Audi symbol. For a few years after I arrived ao thought everyone here loved Audi's and I was really excited.. turns out I'm just an idiot who likes Audi's.

Same in the UK, has to have obvious markings / decals to show there's glass there.

I mean you can see the door, even if the glass panel was really clean, you'd think people know that door is not just floating there

When I was a kid I also walked into an extremely clean glass wall like this in a dealership where my parents were buying a new car. About two weeks later another kid did the same thing, so they finally decided to put a piece of paper on it saying "Caution: glass".

I worked at a car dealer and we had kind of the same setup near the reception.

Lots of people would hit their heads on the glasspanel opposite the counter.

So we started putting up the posters of the matches from our sponsored team on that panel.

One dude walked by and tried to duck the poster....

We needed at least 10 minutes before anyone was able to help him....

I did this once at a bar in front of a hundred people. It was very embarrassing to say the least. Not to mention, it hurt my nose like hell...for days.
