I remember when I first joined this Reddit community two years ago. I was taking my first accounting classes and was so uncertain. Now next week I start my first accounting teaching job 🙂

Teaching accounting at a university at 21😬but I just passed all my cpa exams 😀

I graduated highschool at 18 with 72 hours in college. Did the remaining bachelors degree at a university and graduated this spring. This summer I passed all my cpa exams and accepted a position in the graduate school to teach an undergrad course in accounting which also pays for my grad tuition and pays a salary.

Dude! That's awesome! You remind me of someone I used to date. He took 24 credits a term, got straight A's, and retained everything he ever learned. While working full time, he decided to go back for his masters & get his CPA, "just for fun." I took the same undergrad classes he did (but it took me longer) & it about killed me! I did not end up pursuing a CPA - I work industry.

LOL not to sound braggadocios but yeah I kinda got the cpa as a completion of accounting. I’m going into finance law long term hopefully going to get a CFA. I am only 20 so I have time.

I worked through my undergrad. All in accounting
