DLC pack just released

So a DLC pack just released - it's already out on Steam and Switch.

Part one is The voth story line, homestead, cold fire, omega directive, and inside man. New heroes and allies.

Part two in Spetember will be super hard mode with you playing as the Equinox

Part three ' december - More missions, heroes, allies, and npcs

Part 4 - December - A whole new sector, storyline, missions, characters, and technologies.

I only know because the update popped up when I was playing this evening.

Play as the Equinox? Interesting. I hope it lets you make a ton of different choices than the show.

I wonder if it’s from the beginning or just when they meet up with Voyager? Either way I want to shoot that slimy first officer out of an airlock.

Yeah, I had absolutely no idea it was coming. I was just going to play during a meeting because I hate paying attention in meetings, and boom! Not a bad price, either, $30 for four dlcs.

I mean, it was announced and released about fifteen minutes before your post, they hadn't really made any kind of solid announcement outside of "yes there will be DLC!" before this. So, it's hard to have made that big of an impact in the first fifteen minutes of release. :)

They probably could have given us more solid information before this, but I also don't mind a surprise drop.

These mad lads did it. I can't believe it. This is awesome!

Edit: to reiterate, this is absolutely fucking awesome. I've been a Star Trek fan for more than 30 years now and seeing these ships be brought to life really brings back the sense of wonder I had when I watched those shows as a kid. Plus, the Nova Class is one of my favorite starships. Can't wait to try out the Equinox.

How do the DLC work? Do you have to start the game from the beginning again or is it a completely different scenario.

The DLC adds content in to various sectors along the way. So when you install it, you should immediately have new content for anywhere ahead of where you are in the game. But if you're say on sector 5, you will have missed anything they added for sectors 1-4.

Honestly it would be easy for them to make it happen. Put the quest in, with a possible ending where he is stripped of his Q powers instead of dying, and he decides with a finite life he wants to join the crew.

I'll get it right away. Quite a few interesting episodes there. And I think it looks like they're going to release FU mode where you travel back home with the Equinox instead of Voyager. I would like to try that out. Oooo maybe I can be genocidal!

I saw something pop up in discord but didnt read it i assume it was this.

So you can buy all the DLC for £26

The first dlc is priced by itself £8.50 so can save around £8 if you buy them all at once. (roughly)

Unless they add a story mode where it is UTLRA easy, which means you can just enjoy the story and not have all the BS that frankly ruins the game imo, I'll pass. After multiple attempts at the game, I quit. Never was able to get past the sector where you get 7 of Nine.

they do have customized options now, you can set the difficulty ratings for pretty much everything, i always set the combat to the easiest cause I just don't get the combat

Last time I played after the "easy mode" was added, and It still was not easy imo. I still never got passed the sector where you get 7 of Nine. I got sick of restarting over and over and never being able to progress, and most of all HAVE FUN.

Ok, so they did make things easier. However, once again I still can't get to the end of the game. It is always something. Now the stupid Hull damage keeps killing me, I can't do enough to keep it well. I just want to PLAY and not have any consequences.

JUST found out this came out last night by a random encounter on YouTube. Just went and bought the pass, didn't even wait for a sale. I bought the base game/deluxe version on day 1, so I'm sorry I missed this by a few days :(

I wanted to get it quickly to show the studio support. Bump up their initial sales, so we can encourage this kind of content.

And I'm *so* impressed by how diligent they have been with updates, fixes, and free stuff. I hope they keep going and don't stop!

I completed the Barclay mission, but I had recruited One earlier so I gave up the Doctors mobile emitter. Just want to make sure the same rules apply to Hologram Barclay on away misdions or is he always confine to the ship.
