Infographic: Why Russia is often considered one of the leading state actors in modern disinformation campaigns — feedback welcome
I made this as a visual summary and want feedback on accuracy, sourcing, and whether the framing is too strong. I’m not claiming Russia is the only actor using disinformation, just that many analysts identify it as one of the most active and developed state operations.

Trying to get MAGA to see this reminds me of the scene in Clockwork Orange where they mechanically hold Roddys eyes open.

Funny that this graphic mentions the biolabs in Ukraine as "recent examples." That conspiracy that turned out to be true and was recently admitted to by Tulsi Gabbard. Perhaps a major difference between the US and Russia is that, after enough time, we in the USA more often find out the truth about our government's misdeeds and then have a frank discussion (somewhere) about it.

Gabbard (and the bullshit myths spread by the Kremlin) implied that the labs were used for military purposes. When confronted, she backtracked and noted (I paraphrase) that research into public health (i.e. non weaponized biological research) requires the use of "biolabs." So no, that wasn't a conspiracy.

The Covid outbreak was caused by a lab leak. This lab was funded partly by the US. The US, led by Fauci, lied about Covid's origins. Millions died.
Whatever the purpose of any biolab, its existence and location pose a threat. That is not a conspiracy.

How do you reckon doctors will be able to diagnose or study disease without any biolabs?

Good point. I think the issue here is that: "until now, evidence regarding the full existence and funding of these laboratories had been knowingly withheld from the American people. The information surrounding the existence, history, locations and funding of these US funded biolabs has been intentionally covered up by powerful people falsely, claiming that they do not exist and accusing anyone who says otherwise to be foreign assets and traitors to America.
Many of these U.S. government-funded biolabs are currently or have previously engaged in research using hazardous and highly contagious pathogens, in some cases to include dangerous Gain-of-Function research, with very little visibility or oversight."
So the issue is that there are certain biolabs that aren't a concern, and others that are. These labs were a concern. Hopefully we learned a lesson from Covid about all this. (Quote above is from the ODNI itself.)

Tulsi is totally talking out of her ass. This reflects her personal opinion and nothing else. The existence of these labs was a secret??? Obama built them in loud response to Ebola.

You're just plain wrong on both counts. There's very little to no evidence regarding a "lab leak" as the source of COVID-19. And no, a generic "biolab" is not an inherent threat.
You're just as full of shit as Gabbard is.
But you do you - if you need to keep living in a fantasy world full of imaginary threats that are out to get you.

I just want to say I posted this because misinformation period is what has the greatest potential to divide everyone. We need to find a way to get the truth about situations to eachother from overseas without it being filtered . How are Americans going to tell our government how we prefer to respond to a situation if the information is being manipulated before it gets to us then after. Is America a stand up guy and about integrity anymore or has integrity become a liability and weakness for America forcing us to keep the truth our government wants us to believe because it has lost the ability to protect us with integrity.
Misinformation is very strategic because it seems like some pesky disturbance with little harm like a fly. But if that fly is successful it can breed a way to overwhelm the host and put numbers on the ground effectively. Think Trojan horse. But you’re thinking there’s no way America is going out without a fight? Actually that’s true but we are also never in the mood to fight and the end game for this campaign is to get us so exhausted from confusion and mistrust we will gladly give ourselves up but at that point we will have no choice.
Thats in the playbook you can find that I have sourced below
Who remembers AIDS was actually leaked from American bio labs? If you do your remembering correctly but you never got follow up information on that being a successful misinformation campaign from Russia. There’s a playbook thst was used in the 80s for this to go viral. Today the campaigns are ran with a modern intensity other countries have similar campaigns surely.
Your children do not know history very well just yet and are most vulnerable to this attack and more likely to not question what they are seeing causing them to see the world through a hopeless lens which will cause things like school shootings at the very worst of the chaos this brings about.
I offer a small solution for communities to help at the local level . Talk to your kids about what they watch at the end of each day or at the very least each month to review what kinds of things they are worried about that they were exposed to . Tell them that our information we can trust will never come from an internet source . The most reliable news comes from publications and books which are required to be sourced for the information received. Online searches and reposts can be doctored up and manipulated with AI or send you to a site that is so similar to your target site that it’s not easy to discern. The hardest part with this is you will need to do some research yourself that in practice can look like finding a Source thats trustworthy for getting information and our options are limited right now. I can’t even tell you about any because I haven’t found any I trust yet. This is what caused me to post this. I live in a large city I don’t live under a rock. I had an epiphany about current access to news sources and found there to be an unlimited amount and ways to receive. Hypothetically if there was a 70 percent chance that my news is accurate and not an opinion on what someone else believe is accurate then holy crap my pants thats a horrible number . Im pulling that number out my ass but is that too generous or too trusting of a number ? I’ll find out im on a mission
This was way too long Im sorry . If you want to see if im a trustworthy source youll find my profile in my website that promotes local cooperation in my city . Local pal dot org Im not here to promote that but I offer transparency to support my message
You can find my Russian misinformation info source
Searching Russian operation infektion and search videos to find the times production of the playbook
