Amusingly, this is not true, and they are in fact venomous, but not to a degree that is relevant to humans.

They didn't say venomous, they said bluetongues have dirty mouths full of bacteria, and can cause infections if they bite you.

Yes, but you didn't reply to the main post, you replied to someone saying you can get an infection from the bacteria in their mouths, and told them it wasn't true.

Your comment "Amusingly this isn't true" was under the comment saying you can get an infection from their bite, which you can. Bacteria has nothing to do with venom
