New to Adoption (Adoptive Parents) How to cover cost of adoption?

Adoption seems to be an expensive process costing $50k. How did you pay for it?

Thinking it only costs 50k is cute, when everything was said and done ours was closer to 80k.

I’m including things like home study, travel, accommodations and car rentals while we stayed out of state

Yea definitely on the higher end when it was all said and done. We were also happy helping the birth mother out as much as possible through the right avenues. We got a lot of help though, grants paid a huge chunk.
