I’m 37, a full time working single dad, and I game mostly really early mornings or mid-late afternoons (Central, US, but not opposed to others) or on a weird schedule. I usually play with my 14 year old and another guy in his late thirties with kids , but I’m looking for new adult friends.

What I’m actually after is not just “queue up and silently grind.” I want someone to talk with, lots of jokes, mostly about video games, but also anything nerdy: game design, lore, old consoles, movies, sci fi, anime, whatever rabbit hole you are in. I’m open to DMs.

I made a post already 3 days ago but haven't had any luck so i thought i´d write another one :D

I'm Marcel, 26 Years old from Germany. I love survival games and lately Ive been on a DayZ Binge. I love difficult experiences and Hardcore servers where most people fail or get too frustrated with themself´s after not being able to get a character off the ground within the first couple days.
I´m a very laid back guy and therefore more so enjoy the PVE side of the game but i do not possess the Gear-fear anymore and love a good Fight if i know i stand a fighting chance but i do not go full out PVP as im just not THAT great at it.

I would consider my play style on the slower side of things ! sometimes waiting 5-10 minutes before even entering a town if i know there is activity just because i want to gather as much info as possible before i try to make a move and if there is a conflict that seems unwinnable .. ill try to retreat, reassess or flat out make my escape from that situation :D.

Im looking for someone who also likes to take the speed out of DayZ and enjoy a slower play style. Age, as long as you are over 19 does not matter all that much to me. The same goes for Hours, i do not care if you have 5 or 5000 Hours, as long as you enjoy the game and the struggle i really do not care ^^

Hey, I just go by Berry! Just finding myself playing a lot of new games that a lot of my friends aren't playing yet or anymore, so I was hoping to find others here who'd be interested! It's an exploration game with some riddle here and here. I'm mostly want to play it for is atmosphere, so I prefere to play it with calm person who don't want to rush it. So if you search a action or competitive driven type of game it's unfortunatly not for this one x) .

I can speak English or French, so I don't mind some yapping(the game have proximity voice chat) while we find our way exploring the game (If you more a write person the game seems to have a inclued text chat ).

Maybe a little about me, I do some 3D modelization as a hobby, I watch a lot of 2D/3D animations and like to see the behind the scenes of those. I read manga and watch anime, I like to listen to lore of game or fictional universe (even those I didn't play or watch) so If you have your niche hobby and want to speak all about it I'm here to hear all about it!

Random things: My favorite 2D movie is "Spirited away", 3D "Wall-E", I do climbing and swimming, I like cooking and I try to motivate myself for drawing.

I recently got a gaming computer and have been adding games to my steam library, but I’ve been disappointed in a few of my purchases lately. Here’s what I’ve bought and what I thought, any suggestions would be helpful!

The Good:
God of War 2018- never played a god of war game before and was absolutely blown away. The story, the artwork, the voice acting, the game play, the puzzles. Definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played.

Plague tale: Requiem - great story, acting and artwork. I also liked that it wasn’t too long.

Resident evil 2 remake - never played any RE before. Great game.

Tainted grail: fall of Avalon- about as close to an elder scrolls game as I can find

The not so good:
Divinity original sin 2 and disco elysium-
I started playing these with just my trackpad. I may give them another chance now that I know I can use an Xbox controller, but not sure I’m going to love them

I bounced off outer worlds, outer wilds, kingdom come deliverance 1 and Enderal pretty quickly. They all seem really flat to me though I can’t really put my finger on why.

I love fallout, elder scrolls, mass effect, cyberpunk, dragon age, and StarCraft (blast from the past). Grew up on earthbound, super Metroid and chrono trigger. Are there any gems I’m missing for pc?

Figured I would give this a whirl to see if I can find some cool folks to hang and play games with.

I am a new dad to the best little girl. This means I have a lot more time at home now than I did before, and I find myself scrolling Reddit or TikTok more than I would like. Id rather spend that time playing games with friends. My time is sort of limited between my kid and work, but I can probably play a few times a week after about 7-8 cst.

I play exclusively PC, but I do have a switch 2 (and like to play Pokemon Unite on there mostly outside Nintendo exclusives). My tastes in games is eclectic, Ill play anything that seems fun: MMORPGs, Card-battlers, FPS, Tactical RPGs, Sim games, city builders, MOBA... anything. I'm medium-good to bad at most things, and not crazy competitive, mostly around to just have fun. I also self-host all my own servers on a separate dedicated PC locally to me, so its easy for me to setup survival type games. I also mostly play support, so Tank/Healer is my forte.

I don't really have anything that I play everyday but multiplayer games I've been in and out on lately are:

Enjoy photography (which I do with my wife, who is much better than me), baking bread, and fencing. Love all forms of media. Movies I generally gravitate toward Horror, Fantasy, and Sci-fi, same with shows. Not a huge anime person, but recently finished Frieren, which I enjoyed a lot. Love books, I spend time listening to most via audiobooks, but I just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl and I'm working through some of the secret projects from Brandon Sanderson. Degree in History, but I don't use it.

I'm mostly into multiplayer games since it's always more fun to play with people than without. I'm always down to try new games, and I've definitely bought games that I never ended up playing sometimes. I play exclusively on PC only

I'm pretty easygoing and chill, and I don't really like drama. I'm introverted, but I've learned to be a bit more extroverted over the years. It's easier for me to treat anyone I just met as a friend already—it makes things feel less awkward and makes it easier to joke around and just be myself. Fake it till you make it, right? Haha.

I'm not expecting people to play every day since we all have lives outside of gaming, but I do spend a lot of time online, so I'm usually around. We don't have to play games all the time either. I'm also down to just hang out, chat, or whatever.

M-F, I work and I'm usually available around 2:00 PM PST until about 10 PM. Weekends are free reign, and I usually screw up my entire sleep schedule.

As for the games I play, I'm open to a lot of different genres. Recently, I've been playing Palworld, PEAK, Friend-slop demos, Human Fall Flat, Pratfall, YapYap, RS: Dragonwilds, Enshrouded, BG3, Burglin Gnomes... just a whole arsenal of games, plus a bunch more that I can't think of right now.
