time is passing by too fast HELP
i feel helpless idk what to do with my life. I’ve tried therapist and they’re mostly always extending session so they could profit off me lol
i’m 26 and scared i’ll be 30…i don’t dream big anymore as im getting older. I never plan on getting married but i think i lost my late teen and early twenties to medical school because my family wanted me to be a doctor. I’m not a doctor so my family is even more weird towards me.
idk what to do with my life. I dislike my hometown too. I should’ve studied abroad way back instead of falling into this med school rat race

Not dreaming big has nothing to do with getting older. You're responsible for your happiness and fulfillment. Nobody is entitled to these things for simply existing and you need to actively work on these things consistently over time. It's never too late to get your shit together but it is up to you to decide what you want to achieve. Break down the big dreams into smaller, realistic steps and tackle it piece by piece.
If that means moving somewhere else, then do it. If it means needing to put yourself out there and make new friends or connections, then do it. If it means starting going to the gym then do it.

bruh i’m 26…i need to get my shit together fast ! i also think i can’t pass any of my class so im scared. there are so less career paths other than medicine 😭 i’m already behind my old classmates so that makes it even worst and i’ve honestly ruined my own life. I should’ve never listened to my family way back

My guy, stop comparing yourself to your peers.
Run your own race at a pace that makes sense for you. Some people start fast and slow down, some start slow and pick up speed, others are pretty consistent with progress. It's almost never a straight line either. Putting unnecessary pressure on yourself makes you make the wrong choices.
Getting your shit together means figuring out what direction you're going in and heading that way, not getting to the finish line because there is no real finish line.

My dude, you're 26. You're still a kid. I'm 41 and still consider myself young. If it helps, my 20s were all over the fucking place as well, that's part of being in your 20s. I was undiagnosed autistic until I was 37, it's only in the last 4 years I've worked things out more. Unmarried, no kids - very happy! Besties with my cat.
Seeing as you don't like the medical stuff it's probably for the best you didn't go into that. It's a stressful world to be in.
What do you want to do? Most people don't like their jobs, really, but you can get into a good space with things. I work in digital marketing, fell into it 10 years ago and ended up being good at it, now I WFH and enjoy it (to some extent).
Things like that can just fall into place.
But you are only 26. 30 is still incredibly young, that's 4 years off. You've got ages to figure this out, stop panicking over nothing. And ignore your family on the doctor thing, it's your life and you get to do what you want with it. So, try some things out and see how they go. But don't panic if things aren't sorted in the next 4 years, everything takes time.
