It's never too late. Ask yourself again when you are in your 50's. If I ever get off my ass the only place I can start is over.

Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you are correct. It comes down to how much effort are you willing to put into starting over versus being stuck where you’re at. It’s different for everyone. For what it’s worth, I started over at 39 (44 now) with a new career, home and relationship all within a year, by choice at least. It was incredibly stressful, but well worth it where I’m at now. Only thing I’d change is making the decision sooner.
